Hello Abdullah - your videos are great. I have a couple questions that I may have missed in your presentations regarding S4 Hana Customer Rebate Set-up (WCOCO). My company has customers that are only supposed to be rebated for 10% on sales up to $1,000,000. How can I stop accruals and payouts after this amount has been reached even if there is still time on the contract? I tried putting another scale of zero on the rebate starting at $1,000,000.01 but it did not seem to work. Also since the maximum payout has been reached I need it to stop accruing - I cannot change the end date on a contract so it just keeps accruing. What would the best practice for this situation be? Any input you can provide would be appreciated.

Hi Abdullah. Far as I know, the accounting entry for purchase rebates (actual or accrual) should decrease de COGS (which is shown here by crediting the Rebates gains) only if that stock has been sold to the customers. In case the stock is still not sold, then the Inventory value should be decreased in Balance Sheet. Are you aware of SAP covering this scenario or have you ever seen it in any organization?

You mean if you're using moving average? For standard cost nothing impacts the stock except new cost estimates or material ledger For moving average, no I've never seen this
