The guards weren't getting in the lane, they were blanketed at the 3 point line and couldn't beat Uconn guards off the dribble. What game were you watching?

I knew Purdue was very good as a UConn fan but also knew by watching UConn every game this season that they were better. It was tough to explain to purdue fans this season that even though they were ranked number 1 for a bit that UConn was actually better and I understand why they wanted to believe it but in all honesty it wasnt even a fair fight and we all knew it would end up like it did no matter who we played in the finals.

Uconn fan here. Purdue never gave up. Fans should be proud of them. I hope Edey does well in professional BB. Purdue made it to the championship game. Very difficult to do.

I think Edey is great but to me big dog Robinson is the best player in Purdue history and in the NCAA

I love the Big Dog.... But.... he scored 11 points in the regional final in his last game against Duke... 11..... Edey got us to a national championship game... so there is a difference in success. Love them both though

@@Hal-lj7kp Edey played 4 years and Robinson played 2. I understand what your saying but Edey failed in 3 years and did good in his final year. Robinson failed in 2 years. I saw them both play and Robinson was better without a doubt. It shows the problem with Purdue. Purdue always has a college player of the year on the team with a weak supporting cast. Both teams that beat them were smart. One team said Stop Robinson and no one else can do anything. The other team said stop everyone else and let Edey work he can beat you alone. At the end Uconn stop playing d so he scored 10 points in garbage time. He had missed 7 straight shots before that

Purdue guards are Below average and you won't see them in the NBA. Great coaching by Dan Hurley. UCONN made them look average.

Hum.. you make that statement based off of one game.. I agree that the Purdue guards were owned by the UConn guards in this game, also agree that they were / are the better team. But Braden will very likely be in the NBA. He’s only a sophomore and one of the best point guards in the country. I concede that you couldn’t see that from last night’s game, but the rest of the years body of work supports my statement.

Braden ain't going to the NBA. He looks good in the big ten with all that room to operate but it won't be like that next year when edey is not there. What his shooting percentages and assist go down next year with edey

Purdue failed. No other way to frame it. They brought back the supposed best player ever and had the 2nd best 3 point shooters in the country to surround him. They failed the fanbase

They did not fail us. We are proud of this team! UConn is in a league of their own, their defense was phenomenal. They played Zach one-on-one and wouldn't let anybody else get open. The athleticism of our guards and size showed itself. The foundation has been laid and athleticism is coming.

Love my boilers but uconn is just flat out a better team if we played them 10 times they would beat us 9 times! I'm proud of my boilers to get to the final four for the first time in 44 years ,and to play in the national championship game since 1969 would love to have won that final game but uconn just better .boiler up🏀

Yeah Uconn was just a terrible match up. The difference in guard play was massively in favor of Uconn.
