I agree with the guy talking about how easy it is for survivors. I won’t get into looping and pallets, but im gonna list second chances survivors get. Downed at a pallet and pallet saved, flashlight saved, flashbang saved, running to a tall spot of a map away from hooks with boiled over, body blocking killer and hooks so they wiggle off, sabotaging hooks when the killer is close, syringes, endurance from various perks or items. All those make the time killer spent chasing useless, and even though a few require another survivor to do, thats still 2 survivors on gens. I know killers have a fair amount of second chance perks and add ons, but if a killer gets a down, they shouldn’t have to worry about 9 different things that can stop them from getting a single hook. Some of the strongest perks (hexes) can be destroyed by survivors permanently as soon as the game starts, but boon totems can only temporarily be snuffed out. I just don’t like how many chances survivors get when killers don’t get the same treatment. Imagine if a killer could turn off a generator like shoulder the burden changes hook states. Instead killers cant even defend a generator after a while because it can’t regress anymore. Its a rant and im complaining but the game is very survivor sided and almost every update solidifies that more and more

A perk to transfer a gen’s progress to another gen would’ve been so cool about a year ago but as you said a perk like that wouldn’t even mean much nowadays because hey you can only regress gens a laughable 8 times now. But survivors can heal infinitely. And Shoulder the Burden even triggers anti hook perks so the person off hook can body block for the exposed survivor using their endurance or DS. A survivor with Deli could also be hooked first, the others use STB to transfer the hook stage. Now that survivor only has to unhook someone and they can actually use their Deli.

@@a_very_burnt_steakAnother thing about the anti camp feature that everyone forgets is that it makes playing in basement completely irrelevant. Because every time you try to bring another survivor into basement the survivor that's already hooked, their anti camp meter still goes up while you're carrying another survivor downstairs. So where's the incentive to play basement if I can't even bring multiple survivors down there?

Inagine if we had limited time modes that prompted playing killers of less popularity. You could get bonus blood points for playing trapper or even temp buffs for weaker killers that last only a week

I wonder what would be a good build for Pinhead that centers around teleporting to survivors who are solving the box? (As opposed to what Red usually does which is walk toward them and try to interrupt the solve with a chain.) Presumably you could use the add-ons that make solving the box take longer to give you that much more time to teleport to them, but what perks synergize well with teleporting to survivors? One possibility might be to use something like Third Seal or Knockout so that, if someone starts using the box when you pick a survivor up, you can simply drop them and teleport away and it will hopefully take the other survivors longer to revive their slugged buddy. Then combine that with your favorite chase perk or two to help mitigate the problem of the survivor you’re teleporting to probably doing it in a tile they think is relatively safe. Obviously under normal circumstances hitting the survivor with a chain is often preferable to teleporting, but it would be kind of neat to have a build that lets you teleport fairly freely without worrying about the downside as much. 🙂

I just started the game last month and I usually will play one or two games per day as killer and I'm enjoying myself. It feels kind of cozy and not serious unlike if you were playing something like a League of Legends or something like that.

I think Red is reading my mind. I was expecting Pinhead (read a comic about a girl being saved by a Cenobite) gameplay. And the fact that the topic was also related to my thoughts regarding the game itself. DBD needs more players, somehow.

Hi, Red, your understanding of the game and it's internal processes is so impressive. Do you still think that the Skull Merchant nerfs are a conditioning thing?
@RedsGamingGears16 күн бұрын
Yes, but like I said before, it's an attempt at conditioning, and I think it's a bad way to go about Skully changes.

I think it would be better if pinhead said "the box, you opened it, I'M GONNA COME!" It's scarier for the survivors for him to say he's going to show up soon but they dont know exactly when. It would just fit better for the killer

I think a big problem is the mind set of the DBD community. I feel like no matter whose stream it comes up in or what forum ita posted the convo goes like this. Player1:"Man the game just feels boring because it never really changes anything. The changes are almost all just cosmetic essentially." Player2: "ok well how about something like -insert idea like Reds about seasons or leagues that change the base game-" Player1: "maybe as an additional game mode but i dont want it in the base game." Everyone else in the conversation: "so you complain the base game has become stale but dont want anything new or different added to the base game?" Player1:"uhh well yeah but like...make it fun again..."

I feel like there are so many easy changes to so many killers to make them more fun. Not even changing numbers or anything. Like my go to change WHY THE HELL DOES DEATHSLINGER HAVE AN AUDIO QUE TO TELL SURVIVORS HES AIMING AT THEM???? No other ranged killer announces they are aiming at a survivor, his range is almost half his terror radius so its not like you dont know hes there either. He hasnt been able to quickscope in forever so someone give me any good reason why this is there.

Bro if you do a league thing per season, you run too much a risk of doing something a lot of people hate. This is why even events are separate que now. Even thos had people not playing until they were over. Too risky to alienate a large portion of your player base like that.

To what you said early in the vid Red, DBD can be fun but lately it’s been horrible and actually quited it for good for this reasons: 1.the game is unbalance af and always goes to one side or the other 2.both sides end up resorting to cringe strategies and metas 3.Both sides being mentally unstable, from killers only proxy camping and tunneling and survivors dc’ing and killing themselves on hook 4.Lastly the game and its devs have really embrace a woke culture which sadly i disagree at the fullest and in good conscience I can’t support devs like that anymore
