"PURE" DARKLORD - Duelist Cup Journey Part 3 | DLv. 17-19 | October 2023 | Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

In this Part 3 of My Duelist Cup Journey, I attempt to reach Duel Level Max 20 (starting from DLv. 17) using a somewhat "Pure" Darklord decklist in which I tried out some interesting and quite different tech options. I somehow managed to reach rank-up games to DLv. Max but sadly, on 3 different occasions, I got unlucky to go up against and lose the rank-up matches to Floodgate / Stun Deck (s).
The most notable of the new tech options I decided to try out were Kashtira Fenrir and Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill. The reason I chose these two over other options is because Fenrir is a free special summon while additionally searching itself to help thin out the deck and have come to acknowledge how ridiculously strong it is on its own as a form of removal. As for Ghost Mourner, I included it as sort of an alternative to Infinte Impermance / Effect Veiler to negate opponents special summoned monsters with the potential to inflict damage if they leave the field on the same turn. The secondary reason for using it was because it is also a Tuner which made it the perfect combo piece to go into synchro plays with Fenrir and some of the Darklord monsters.
Of course, the decklist could still be better optimized (it was bricky at times) and be built many different ways, but overall, I had fun with it (even with my misplays and some games I had no business winning lol), and in hindsight I could see some changes I would make still.
Replays are not all necessarily top tier highlights but just my own showcase and experience of wins using this decklist and what decks I've encountered/faced-off against during the current meta season in ranked ladder duels and events
