Hey Raxx, I am severely disabled, Ive had to stop playing so many games because my hands are so bad now it makes playing impossible. You mentioned this spec a few days ago and I gave it a go. how do you stay alive with this build reliably? sometimes I tp into pack and get oneshotted before getting charges with explosive blast, or just get oneshotted in general, it has to be my skill issue, but dunno how to improve this aspect :D ty for the great build!

HI, Raxx. Thanks for all you do. I'm 75 and housebound; I began playing the original Diablo with my about 25 years ago, and we both graduated to D2, then D3. Then I ported over to WOW and played that for a few years, but when I became housebound I came back to D3 and have pitched my tent there. The first Wizard I played was Firebird, but I kind of stalled with it. Tried Necro and got along but realizedd that Wizard is my home. I very much like your Meteor build, though I am still progressing and don't have everything yet. I am at GR 21 and P245, so not bad for an old codger. I have the full Typhon set (Haedrig's Gift) with a diamond in the helm; II use Halo of Karini (w/ Storm Armor) and Stone of Jordan (no socket yet), Grand Vizier (also no socket yet) and Flame Hydra instead of Explosive Blast, partly because I'm comfortable with Hydras, they give me a lot of flexibility, and synergize well with Meteor/Comet. Plus they have no latency and no cooldown so I can throw both repeatedly. I have Primordial Soul, Magistrate and Golden Gorget of Leoric (nothing better yet) in the Cube. I can only play about 3-4 hours a day because of my back, haven't taken any equipment damage for about 7 hours so there you are. Your vids, especially this one, have brought me a lot of new enjoyment, so thank you again. If you have any suggestions or comments I would welcome them. If not, keep on keeping on.

I got my D4 Sorc to 100 today and I didn’t have any fun doing it or much fun after as endgame Sorcs are very dull. I went back to D3 and I am attempting this build and having so much fun. Blizzard bring back fun to Diablo.

I don't know if anyone else has said but the reason you keep getting stuck and not teleporting is that you're getting stuck on small map parts and it's trying unsuccessfully to teleport you to a place you can't get to. Last season I did basically the same movement build as this but with the Monk's Dashing Strike, and it worked the same way. When you have a wide open space you fly through it in fractions of a second, but as soon as you hit a map with bends and turns you can Teleport/Dashing Strike half a dozen times into a wall or a small, untraversable part of the map and waste a few seconds. I've noticed that when you're moving that fast it's really hard to turn, so if you hit a curvy area you're basically guaranteed to waste your entire In Geom because trying to move that fast while curving is a fool's errand. Moving your cursor really close to your character so your teleports are really close together helps a bit, but since you're going so fast it doesn't really do that much.

I am a first responder and a vet. I have fellow veteran friends that have disabilities with their hands...or their hands are totally missing and they have prosthetic hands. This build actually lets them play with their good hand with a gaming mouse! In fact. I would challenge Maxroll to try and come up with more builds like this for other characters. They use one hand and use the Numlock trick with the other abilities :-) No one has really ever tried to come up with a library of literally one handed builds! Basically optimized the best they can be to play with one hand. Obviously they might not be top tier, but pretty close :-) Its not that players are lazy, there is a wide range Diablo 3 base (soon D4) audience that are disabled....including veterans. Food for thought :-)

So I read that even at melee range - Zei's will still round up, so the damage is higher than you think! Of course for t16 if you dont need the damage you can always run something else!

If you don't have In Geom, Messerschmidt's Reaver is a potential alternative until you can get one. I have used it on my monk and the Dashing Strike teleport spam was real. Not sure if it will work as well for this build though as it is a 2-handed axe and you would need to sacrifice using that off-hand.

Like 'Boerboel Mummy', though from sounds of it not as bad, I have difficulty playing too being 70. Soon as I saw your title 'brain dead' I just had to give it a go! I am a tad slow off the mark and fingers full of arthritis, they can get quite sore. This is a wonderful build and have been enjoying my Wizard flying around the place like a pro and so enjoy seeing the mobs dieing when all the meteors land and my fingers not getting sore at all. Thanks so much! My partner and I have been keen gamers for many years and it's getting harder now but refuse to stop until we can't see the screen anymore lol.

At aprox.8:00, I'm assuming Raxx misspoke, as the meteor casts don't need to hit anything to reset the Teleport (teleport in the place where the floor is lava, aka a town, and mash meteor. Won't hit anything, but Tele gets it's reset proccs). Great vid, and a fun build, though 😁

Aether Walker pretty much accomplish the same thing. Except you can start spamming teleport the moment you enter the rift and doesn’t rely on elites hunting

90% sure you need the in-geom for spamming explosive blast, which is why this does so well. AW's probably better for bounties, but IG definitely feels like the best option for GRs. Also AW has a longer teleport max recast than IG does, and takes resources which IG doesn't.

I play AE and it feels really fast an chill. I just hold down right mouse button (for meteors) and spam 3 (teleport) For ressources I use the helm in cube that gives 30% rcr (forgot the name). P1000 and can do 110s in 1.5-2m consistently and only press one button aswell

Great video and thx. Only problem I have with In-Geom is that there are too many rifts and greater rifts with few elites far apart from each other and too many poor maps with long, winding corridors etc. So i end up using a speed build with Aether Walker instead.

Thank Raxx. I was using similiar version but instead of stone of jordan was using rorg to squeeze guardian set( i did put squirt in cube and i'm wearing set neck) and using tp wand. Been smashing 100-110 close to 90-120s. It might be better for lower paragons since guardian is op(have like 1k paragon and few augs). But i'm getting to like your braindead version. Been doing tals all season so far. Finally got around to doing the T10 in 45 seconds with just the regular gear and paragon 750ish. It's doing GR100's in about 2.5 minutes from the seasonal stuff. All in all a very OP set.

This is nice, but I don’t like relying on the elite packs. Aerher Walker gives infinite teleports and with the resource on crit this season + some other resource saving add-ons you can do the same thing at the very start of the rift.

Didn’t see anyone mention this but if you do the num lock trick on explosive blast and diamonds skin, you only need to press the teleport skill. To do the num lock trick, have num lock turned on, press and hold the number of the skill you want then press num lock again. The skill will auto cast for you now except when you use click to move

thx for sharing, this is a really fun build! It works even with junk gear! Will greatly help speed farming keys. Like you said and showed: kill elite, hold 1 and 2 and spam 3 sometimes throw a meteor if needed and hope to find another elite before the cooldown resets go away. This build crushes GRs. After I finished the Alter (not all the potions yet) I'm running with an Aether build at GR-11O just to farm primals. So fast and satisfying to do sub 2 min rifts (except the part where I still don't have a primal after 10+). RNG!!!

Yes this is pretty strong and very fast but warning this build lacks damage compared to normal tal setup so don't expect to just one shot everything on GR 110. Raxx wipes whole rift in 1,5 minute because he has very high rolls and high paragon. So if you are casual then I'd actually test this first and with paragon calculator actually check if this is even worth it for you. I'd recommend to either primal the ingeom or just try to roll very high damage ancient ingeom.

I prefer the aetherwalker as the weapon, socket a cost reduction into the helm and cosmic strand as your off hand weapon for double teleport
