Spot on my friend. The pure at truth by far the best Techno club in Scotland but by 98 the scene was a completely different story from the original years you’ve mentioned. It was our secret all together as one & having it large and the feeling of this was something very special. Totally unique time. Can’t beat the Pure in those heady days. The events that they held in the Barrowlands were amazing also up to 94 some great times at those nights also. The pulsating strobes in the venue with that music & atmosphere was simply incredible & insane. Also the hottest sweatbox I witnessed. Ah great memories. 🕊️🤩🕊️.✌️👍

@@Disc023-ps6le Yeah absolutely groundbreaking club! With the all the American Original Techno DJs like Derek May & Jeff Mills etc. Also with guys like CJ Bolland & Richie Hawtin all playing there before 1993. The Pure was the first to bring that kind of Techno DJs to Scotland before any other promoters even thought about them. I also went to the Barrowlands nights which were incredible. The venue was one of the hottest sweat boxes I’d ever been in. WICKED. The music & the pulsating strobes & atmosphere was unmatched. Everyone was on one. 🕊️🤯🤩🕊️👌👍✌️

@@Disc023-ps6le The Calton Studios with the Paradox night on the Friday & solution on Saturday nights during the 92/93 period was also mega good but the Pure was something more for the experienced original ravers from the Acid/house scene then developed into the new techno that only the pure played at that time in Scotland. Both clubs had some amazing performances from awesome artists from love decade & N’Joi oceanic at the Calton more mainstream but still had some great nights before it went crazy with all the Hibs boys then to the venue with Ege bam yasi & Jeff Miils Dave Angel & Derek May Lenny D CJ Bolland Frank De wolf etc. Rave on bro. 🕊️🤩🤯🕊️
