Living in the Midwest, I didn't have a lot of opportunities to discover a wide range of music. So I would turn to movie soundtracks and use them to launch myself in different musical directions. When the Cool World soundtrack came out, I delved deeply into the music and similar bands. Really helped me grow my musical tastes. Thank you to Pure and their genre. Really takes me back to happy days.

This sounds like something along the lines of Kyuss, Fu Manchu, King Gizzard, et al....amazing song, of course too cool and cerebral for the normies, hence, they never got out there to wider audiences.
