Pure Havane 2010 (Vintage) Vs 2014 (1st Reformulation)

Where do you usually buy your vintage fragrances from?

Pure Havane together with Naxos are my NR1 fragrances ever. I do have a Limited Edition first batch of Pure Havane from 2011 and a re-released batch from 2014 too. Limited Edition has more cherry and syrupy vanilla honey, 2014 is about the same but has a little less cherry and more cacao. Either 2011 and 2014 have huge performance, but 2011 is a true beast and simply niche quality, but 2014 is a worthy bottle too. Have 11 Mugler fragrances including with "Les Exceptions" Hot Cologne which is a truly under the radar gem. A lot of people complain about the sprayer, but for me it is phenomenal, never had a problem nor a thought about cutting and ruining the flask, it is just about placing the finger in the right place, not even needing to pushing hard, it always sprays a huge blast and distributes very well. Great video, enjoy the Limited Edition batch, truly one of a kind.

Hey Joy,Dave from Pennsylvania, does the drydown change on any of the Mugler fragrance's , I only have Pure Coffee which is awesome but stays the same all day long. I like how a frags drydown changes like the Bvlgari frags except the Amara smells the same all day as well. I like how a frag goes sharp to powder,Stay Safe Brother.

I just bought a bottle of Dior Homme Parfum new in the box from a trusted friend. I paid $150. Do you think it was worth the investment?

You might have paid more than it's original price. Dior Homme Parfum, to me, is one of the best fragrances from the Dior line, or even in comparison to other designer fragrances. It's very masculine, even with the rose note. In the end, no one's opinion matters, except yours because you're the one buying it. If you like it, you like it.

Cutting the rubber was a good tip. I am going to cut my ones tomorrow. It is really a pain in the a*** to spray the rubber bottles from Mugler :D

That's a lot of sprays you're suggesting there Joy and this is a powerhouse of a fragrance (2nd formulation), I normally go with 2 sprays, 1 behind each ear, on a cold winter day and I'm set for more than 10 hours.

Actually it always happens, it's usually a sum of business reasons, such as: -Increased costs of certain components. -Decreased availability of some components. -Changing tastes among target consumers -Desire to appeal to new consumers -Meeting new regulations -Sales to regions with different regulations -Falling profitabilty demands lower costs. Reformulations are, over a long enough time, inevitable, because component availability is constantly changing, and components themselves (especially naturals) are always morphing, and both of these force formulas to change in response.
