When working out the area under the curves, could you use the normal Line equation and integrate with the limits with respect to x instead of t?

We haven’t done Parametrics yet but you made it seem so easy 😂

For the last question when you did 9(2)^5/5 how did you get 2592/5? I am asking this because when I did that I got 2187/5. I don't understand how I could be wrong.

do p and q attain the same gradient

Is there no other way to solve last part cuz that’s so long and hard id think I’ll k how to do that in test can you like not just integrate both then subtract or something

How is it long, don’t draw the diagrams and like do it. I mean you could convert to cartesian but there’s no advantage, this is the quickest method

You can draw two triangles. The intersection of line L and the x-axis is at (-9,0) so you can draw a small triangle between (-9,0) and (-4,3) and a big triangle from (-9,0) to (36,27) then add your integration to the small triangle and take it all away from the big triangle
