These aren't optimized entirely. Just testing new stuff out with the small spright splash.

Is there a reason why you're playing Diva at 2? I've pondered putting a third in to lower the probability of not having a Diva in my deck. Also, what are your thoughts on having cards like Foolish Burial, or Forbidden Droplet to put a Beast card in the GY as a Valerifawn target?

@@NaNa_W4NT5_F3MNM5 just because she unfortunately can't SS herself ever again after she's done it once. Not like my boy Nimble Beaver. But in the Spright set it's really up to you if you prefer to have that in your hand situationally as opposed to something like a second puppy. If you're consistently getting valerifawn then it's not bad at all for sure, The only issue is if you just hard draw it turn one and you throw someone in the graveyard for no reason doesn't really help your board or anything. In that instance, would it be better to just have an extra starter or something more turn one impactful? That's the really tough mix with a deck like this. The engine is so bulky that every single slot has to be closely considered. I end up flexing a lot of things in and out as I climb just based on what I see so there's not really a wrong answer for sure

@@CaryPalmerr I get that, I guess why I want cards like Forbidden Droplet is because I kind of struggle going second with Melffy and want some board breakers. It's also why I'm thinking of adding a single Gadarla because I can search it with Kittytail. But you're right that this deck's engine takes up a lot of space.

@@NaNa_W4NT5_F3MNM5 Yup, all great options! I've tried some lists that were made for going second with a lot of board breakers. Droplet and Evenly are both really strong because if you can use breakers to clear a board with very little resources, the Melffy bodies can out value anyone from that point. If you go peep some of my older lists, droplet/paleo/evenly/lightning storm are all things I have flexed historically. Depends a lot on the meta. Currently, it's like... really hard going second. Most top tier decks play through 1-2 negates like no issue. Definitely try whatever things you can think of, never a bad answer ^^

@@NaNa_W4NT5_F3MNM5 Also adding things like more Alpha or more ways to extend through negates versus more board breakers. I'm sure there's a fine line somewhere but I haven't quite dialed it in yet, myself. My first vs second rate is like 65% vs 40% win rate but, truthfully, that's not super uncommon for a lot of meta decks right now. Just frustrating that when we DO go first, we get hurt so badly by Maxx C and stuff. Going second is a lot more fun, imo.

@@CaryPalmerr Because Melffy has to SS a lot to get going, that leaves it vulnerable to Nibiru as well, I've lost count how many times that's happened to me. Wait... Is that why you added Gigantic?
