Unfortunately, car manufacturers like Ferrari, Renault, Mercedes and Honda from 2014 till 2021 want to leave less of a carbon footprint hence the turbo-hybrid era. Biofuels are next in F1. It's all about being green from a global perspective.

My dad every now and then tells me that when the F1 teams tested here in Portugal after the Portuguese GP was thrown off in the mid 90's, Ferrari came to Estoril one year(idk which year it was) to do some laps in the circuit to test the car, the V10 engine could be heard in Guincho, which is a little bit far from Estoril, I wasn't born at the time but just to imagine the sound and the impact that would make in me if I was there... Gives me goosebumps everytime I think about that
