PURE TIME THIEF DECK BUILD - SEPTEMBER 2021

build this one today in master duel and played against my brother, its really fun to play this deck! Even if you tend to combo into the same XYZs, each game still feels different because you can react with a lot of things. Too bad iam broke now in the game for more of your decks :D

Good to hear it was fun! There's so much you can tweak with Time Thief, like even using Perpetua to feed Double Barrell instead, for a different kind of control!

I've never really found use for double barrell. Redoer and Perpetua are just way more useful, and pretty much any situation where I had the opportunity to summon a third xyz, it made more sense to go with Raider Knight and go for the OTK. Can I ask what's the benefit of using Xyz block over Infinite Imperm? Since imperm doesnt have a cost and can also negate spells/traps in its column and can be played from the hand if you have no cards or are forced to play second.

I absolutely agree, Double Barrell needing Perpetua to give him material is just too much and makes him not viable, Redoer is just so much better because he is consistent. I enjoy XYZ block because it is more on theme, and you should never run out of materials. Infinite Imperm is definitely a better option for more competitive matchups though!

I think instead of xyz block you can play Solemn strike because it is rare to have materials on Redoer to spend like that and can be breaky, also i would maybe put 2 Flyback instead of one because you can attach another one from deck to a Redoer but of course it depends. Anyway, you made a really good build so one subscribe from me, you earned it.

Hey! Thanks for the tips, solemn strike is definitely the better go, but tends to be a bit pricey. And yeah his resource management is harder considering Double Barrell can't gain his own, means maybe Perpetua has to load him up instead

In Time Thief i run Allure of Darkness to get some spicy draw power if i only have the stranglanius on my hand
