i remember years and years ago when i was a lil kid in the early 90's, my old man used to build and sail these and "A" class cats at naval point yacht club in christchurch along side the late Sam Henderson. this class has changed a bit since then. still, brings back memories.

What memories, l owned financed and developed Tornado K1 together with Buider and future Olympic Yachts man Reg Whitehall in Brightlingsea back in the early 70s. It was a revolutionary exciting Cat then and seems even more so now. Wonderful days. I have a 37 ft Sloop now with a lump of metal hanging underneath to keep the Beer from slopping over but will never forget those magic days.

6x3 Meter Power, started sailing on the previous design in austria (Lake Millstatt) with my neighbor when i was 11 years old. Man, what a power, once hi put his hull up it was such a silent sailing. Commercial boats had no chance ....
