Never forget the moment when the entire Roy family was literally roaming around a room full of politicians to try and find who they would make president. Not just endorse as president, but who would get the highest seat in the land and help Waystar become an even bigger influential superpower.

I remember watching and cousin Greg like: “Do I get to choose?” And Roman replies: “No, you get to choose later with the rest of the people” that’s something

My favorite thing about this is how it demonstrates that Kendall and the next generation will never beat their Dad in business because they're not even playing the right game.

Yup, exactly. There's a certain tact that previous generations used. You cannot just get lucky and have stock in your company go through the roof. You may have the money, but not money and power. This is both!

@@maplelu9514 Old people love building golden tombs and sealing the rest of us in with them - this quote is from mad men. Logan should have passed the company to kendall.

His children could never do this. It’s like that line in Game of Thrones “A man who thinks winning and ruling is the same thing.”

people are forgetting that Presidents response to the terror alert delayed kendall and led him to win the vote.

Not even just politics. It’s kind of a power move in something as trivial as relationships. You could read a text and want to wait a minute or so in order to assert your power over the person your speaking to.

what side are you own....sings the music.... theres no sides.... theres only rich people and slaves... for millenniums.... and even the president knows what side he better be on.... and what side he works for.... democracy you know....

You just pointed out the sides! “The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles. Freeman and slave, patrician and plebeian, lord and serf, guild-master and journeyman, in a word, oppressor and oppressed, stood in constant opposition to one another, carried on an uninterrupted, now hidden, now open fight, a fight that each time ended, either in a revolutionary reconstitution of society at large, or in the common ruin of the contending classes.” - Karl Marx & Friedrich Engels in “The Manifesto of the Communist Party”

It’s still ambiguous to me. Did Logan call in a favor with the President to temporarily shutdown the air space or was it purely coincidental?
