Very interesting review. I didn’t know about the Pure Upright from e-pianos until you mentioned it on a comment from the last video. So cool! I also have a Kawai digital upright that I connect some of my other virtual piano library mostly from ios, and one Pianoteq from my computer which I rarely use. Great video and very informative! Thanks!

@@SiEffen Oh wow! That’s a huge plus for me because I like things a bit more simplified and portable on my ipad and I don’t have to rely on ‘Windows’ from my computer. That’s mainly why I don’t use Pianotec much. Also, I’m not too much of a ‘tinkering’ type and may occasionally do only small adjustments at times. This is a great heads up. I appreciate it!

Thanks for the review, very interesting! What stuff do you use to connect the iPad to the Kawai? Does the connection work without bugs?

Hi thanks for watching! Fundamentally it's an iRig MIDI 2 box that connects the two as my Kawai only has 5-pin DIN sockets. I've done a bit of an explanation in this video which might help but let me know if you've got more questions as I run quite a convoluted setup with the other synths involved! kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZomqemVrbcp1qcU

And it works well. The only problems I ever had was trying to use cheap MIDI cables as they seemed to mangle the signal from the pedals. Decent cables were fine!
