I'm still going to use the trusty analogue signal. On DAB the signal will just drop out when the FM, Medium Wave and Longwave Signal is still strong and robust. All hail Analogue Radio!

While there's a lot to be said for DAB, why did they go to DAB in the first place? DRM or internet over 4G could easily work just as well. DRM works across all shortwave, medium and long wave, band two and three VHF and UHF. Internet over 3 or 4G would be brilliant, as you can get services from all over the world.

i'm from northern I more or less listen to FM for U105 because I can't get it on DAB yet but I listen to Downtown Radio as well and it'on DAB

They will have to try and phase out the AM/FM radio before they turn off the analogue radio.
