This suits any climactic battle as the song slowly starts as a calm standoff between 2 opponents and then shoots with more intensity as if the 2 opponents are in the zone with their commands with nothing else existing outside of their world and then the battles over and even though you're supposed to win to me the music gives a calming close not giving a clear answer to who won.

I love how deep your explination is, Because even though I am very monke brained i still feel the same about insurgences music in generel, I just finished the game and the story and music were the most impactful things about insurgence. The Gameplay was also very smooth and the graphics are very Gen 5 which is my favorite gen.

Do you mean mega evolution? Xavier doesn't have a legendary, Diana and Calreath are the only gym leaders with legendaries in the game. (Side note, I find it kinda weird that Adam doesn't use Hoopa Unbound in his battle)

I'm not a fan of the XY gym leader theme, but I don't really like this one either...... it's a nice piece of music but it's not upbeat or intense enough for a gym leader battle. Basically, it would be good for other stuff, but doesn't work well for it's intended purpose. That's just my opinion though. Also I haven't played Pokémon Insurgence yet so that might change if I do manage to play it.

@@osleyathechampion Nah, I like this theme better than most gym themes specifically because it's not upbeat. Unlike other regions, gym leaders don't stick to just one type and go by theme, and are therefore far tougher than gym leaders in other regions. This song captures the intensity of going up against a stronger, more skilled opponent perfectly. This isn't "I'm going to kick ass", it's "I'm going to get my ass kicked".

Yeah, I mean Orion already amps the difficulty out of the gate, as I honestly was surprised how strong his Vulpix was, as Sun Boosted Stab Flame Burst/Flamethrower is brutal for the point of the game you are at. (And on Hard difficulty the Vulpix gets Energy Ball, so he screws over your thought to use Rock, Ground or Water types)

Mega beedrill ruined my entire career :( I had to try with my party like 20 times cuz I didn't feel like grinding. i had mon that could super effective hit it, but it was too fast.
