Probably because most of the time, they let their passions guide them so much, to the point that what actual love they may have gets stifled by selfish and covetous desire.

It's one of the most dangerous things about the Dark Side: it's ability to corrupt even the purest motivations of those who turn to it (case in point, Anakin's ostensibly noble motivations that Sidious twisted through years of gaslighting and alienating him from those who could aid him, as well as the Son's desire to bring order to/protect the galaxy being twisted by his short-sighted selfishness and blind anger). It's the big reason why the Jedi encourage their members to feel and love unconditionally, but be willing to let go/accept the impermanence of themselves and the world around them (much like with many forms of Buddhism, in fact).

@@lotrofan5 The more modern Jedi, perhaps. But not the old order. Which is one of the biggest reasons it fell in the first place. Their refusal to accept and acknowledge the necessity and value of emotions. Especially love. As the Sith Warrior says to Jaesa when she uses her power on Nomen Karr. "That is what the Jedi do. They mask, and pretend, and hide."

Well, he reached one of the higher force lvls: the troll side of the force. Still a Sith, but a Sith who is so damn chilled, powerful and peaceful, that other force user are just too overwhelmed by this "unnatural" side of the force. :D The dark version would be, probably, to be pragmatic, calculated but righteous too. But something like this is beyond of the imagination of Sith AND Jedi.

Probably the funniest idea for me regarding the Lightside Sith is that he's just this completely sparkle-eyed purehearted cupcake. Kindness, charity, mercy are his passions, and like any true sith he embraces them enthusiastically, they are passion after all. When Darth Sideous says: "yeeeesss, embrace your anger... kill him" This guy just goes: "anger? What anger? All I feel is love and mercy."

Plus irony is the common Sith talk of their freedom and broken chains yet are so confined to their hate and greed, and Jedi and about their following the will of the force yet subvert it to their own use like they have for the Republic politics during the Clone Wars. Yet Light Sith are some of the truly free Force Users, they're just genuinely good people doing what they do because it's what they want to do, arguably could make some Light Sith some of the more pure good characters too

Playing as a chiss who takes to heart the rule of dont attack unless attacked first and is also analytical in his approach and dialogue, seeing the trappings that the sith path is showing him. Already pointing out that by breaking the chains of overseer tremel to having new chains to Barras.

oh there is one Sith that managed to do just that, Darth Vectivus. A Rule of Two era Sith that started his life as a director of a Mining Colony that accidentally opened up a pool of Dark Side energy contained within. Darth Vectivus shut down the mining operation there and took to studying the sith teachings, but keeping to his moral ethics as a manager, making him more sane than the more belligerent Sith before him. Violence, galactic ambition, and the eradication of the Sith's philosophical Jedi rivals were of no consequence to him; his contention was to simply immerse himself in Sith lore and study the galaxy. Upon his return to the mine years later as a fully fledged Sith Lord, Vectivus built a mansion in the heart of the asteroid's dark side potency. He also fashioned a personal Sith holocron which contained his philosophy on business practices. Much like Supreme Chancellor Blotus; the first Hutt to hold the office of Supreme Chancellor and did not succumb to the trappings and stereotypes of most Hutts being violent Gangsters, Darth Vectivus eventually died of old age at his home, having lived out the remainder of his days surrounded by friends and family.

Personally, I like it when your alignment is dark side but you still choose light side decisions. It just sounds more interesting to me of a sith that uses their emotions for power but doesn't let it control them unlike other sith who's emotions completely dominate their morality and decisions.

Y'know this scene is a very well done. the easiest choice is dark side because you don't have to fight. But if you go light here you have to fight it but it is more rewarding. It shows that sometimes the hard choice is the right thing to do and easy choice is to do the wrong thing.

We need a series or a single player game about a LS Sith. He is still dedicated to the Empire, his kind, but he is the proof that Dark is not always evil. Oh, the Jedi are monsters, for sure. Self-appointed Judge Dredds. Emotionally stunted, divorced from reality and compassion. Take young kids from parents, pretend it's for the good of the galaxy or whatever sales pitch, and then groom the kids to be cult members. "No adult applicants, please. They're too hard to brainwash. We just have to hope the Sith don't get hold of these adults and train them." Screw trials and nonlethal takedowns, too. Just send one guy in to a dangerous situation so he is 'forced' to use extremely lethal force to defend himself, instead of a team of people, or even another Jedi, to subdue the subject with the advanced defensive and nonlethal weaponry and shielding they have. "Hey, I didn't want to kill him, but I had no choice."
