As someone who's struggled for years w/ fornication, many different partners, sexual sin & impurity/watching porn, I was baptized again and rededicated my life to Christ lat year in September. Even still, I battle with the old thoughts and memories of my past transgressions. I remain prayerful to God to renew my heart, my mind and my old habits to become sanctified and holy. Removing the things that can become triggers do help. What we see on social media, the movies and the kind of music we consume can make an impact on that very battle we may have day to day. As well as the company we keep. I pray that anyone who still battles with sexual temptation will be delivered from those lustful thoughts, to gain strength & wisdom in doing the will of God, and to declare that we are free from sexual sin. The sad thing about pornography is that when someone falls for it and you end up sinning right after you feel so bad, that internal voice saying why did i do it, repentance kicks in but minutes or hours later you fall back into it, thats how bad pornography is. I suffered the same way too until God showed me that I had envy and bitterness in my heart. At first I was upset when he told me "envy and bitterness" because it has no obvious correlation but as I humbly observed my thoughts and actions I realized what he was talking about and repented of that way of thinking. IThat realised I was envious and bitter about people who were married and could have sex whenever they wanted. I felt like God was punishing me by making me wait and the inability to accurately predict the date when God wpuld finally answer me made me feel very disaapointed and tired of waiting on God and so I would turn to porn to satisfy myself. No amount of preaching could have set me free, only the power of the Holy Spirit to reveal those chains did it. That was how God set me free from porn and masturbation. Today whenever I start to think those types of thoughts I realize that I have started entertaining wrong thinking then I repent and he shows me even more stuff... So I encourage you to seek the Holy Spirit out to tell you where your chains are. It could be discontentment, rebellion, anything. Just listen, repent and surrender to God immediately and that devil of addiction will flee from you. You are blessed!

One sin after the other that I had in my life got removed by studying the Bible in most of my spare time, the temptation to watch these things was the last to go. It was a process, but the more time I spent in the bible and studied. The weaker the temptation became as a positive side effect. Now it barely crosses my mind anymore, and it's easier to capture my own thoughts if it does show up. I even stopped looking for a relationship, accepted that regarding the signs warned about in the Bible are happening one after the other these last years. Then it is probably better to be alone so the only thing you can lose when the worst starts is your own life, but if you die for the name Jesus you will be given a crown of life.

@James Barber - I can understand that there are barriers in your situation. That is very common. And truthfully, many of the men who have come to our program have had to sacrifice a lot. Many have quit jobs, sold businesses, etc. Others have been hesitant to make such a drastic change and only came to their senses when their sin cost them everything. I would encourage you to pray fervently about whether keeping your job ought to prevent you from taking care of your soul. You said it yourself--this has killed every good thing in your life. I understand how you feel. Try and give it up though. The longer you do it the easier it becomes and the better you feel. It is like drugs. You want to quit but you also dont want to quit because it feels good. But it becomes easier. Pray often. Keep away from things that trigger you(my biggest is alcohol) and talk to others honestly about it can also help.

Have a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Minimize the time you spend on media and all these platforms that trigger us. Jesus is a great example for us all. However following in the name of Jesus in this day and and age cannot give one salvation. Jesus was the savior in the age of the son. This is the age of the holy spirit we need to be following the second coming christ to be saved. The old testament was written to prepare us for the truths of the new testament. Saints, sexual sin is serious and this video has woke me up to just how serious...and closer we get to our Lord's return and the end of time, the more serious it is going to get. I was sending this video to my niece who is a baby christian ...she is living with a dude, has gotten pregnant by this guy and has another child from a previous relationship already. My niece and the guy she is with now got in a fight, she then wanted to abort the baby to get back at him which would lead to more demonic activity...I had to pray hard to stop that from happening...thank God He stepped in and the abortion was terminated...FOR NOW anyway..but I know it's going to be another fight, and this time someone may get hurt and I told her this..live in boyfriends and girlfriend relationships NEVER work! I want my niece to watch this vid, but it is for me also because I do struggle. Pray for us saints.

I have been lucky to not get addicted to porn. Its scarey just how widespread it is, its gotten worse with fancy iPhones etc. What makes it worse is that something that was meant for part of Creation and lifes process, has been hijacked and distorted.
