Gotta say ... incredible, of course ... but I check these villas out and they all seem to be concerned with "24 HOUR GATED SECURITY" ... or "HIGH LEVEL OF SECURITY" .... f@ck that... I'll take my comfortable, relaxed life not worrying about that sh!t with smaller, secluded, elegant but almost anonymous properties instead of this bullshi!t ... architecturally and construction of an incredible standard ... but what a bullsh!t life to lead ... walking around, scared as f@ck.

You're not understanding things. These sort of homes are usually gated and have security or they could possibly be targets for common thieves. When out an about in Marbella, or most places in Spain, you're much safer than in say, the UK. I lived 4 years in Marbella when I was younger and used to walk home at night, sometimes a bit worse for wear, but was never concerned for my safety, and never had any issues
