Great to see the roads again and one to add for the next visit, CA-894. And also to see the cable car when in season. Well put together video too.

CA-894: fantastic little road and about 20-mins each way! Fuente Dé is within easy each too. Glad you liked the vid. I’ll try and get part three out soon but dictated by clients and family this week!

Great video, brought back memories of last years trip and whetted the appetite for my return with the Mrs as pillion in August (fingers crossed). Shame you rode right past the Mirador del Tombo (17.40), the views are absolutley stunning there.

Hey Walt. Appreciate your comment. Whetting appetites is all we can try and do. I’ve just looked. How could we have missed that? It is certainly noted for next time. Thank you. I hope you do manage to ride the roads again in August. 👍🏼

You’re very welcome, Martyn. April is cooler than mid-June as many are experiencing at the moment. We’re off again September, but where? Keep tuned for more vids later in the year. Ride safe and enjoy! 👍🏼🏍💨

Nice video guys. I was there in May but didn't get to Cain. But I will next May!

Interesting seeing you guys in many of the same places as we stopped. Given more time I would explore further on top of Fuente De and probably spend more time in Cain.

Some think you can do all you need to in a couple of days. I think you need at least three to four days, or even longer if you wish to spend a decent time at one of the magnificent places the Picos has to offer!

Welcome aboard and thanks for your comment. It's appreciated. We'd like to thank your friend too for recommending us! Are you considering heading to the Picos or have you been? In the meantime, check out www.motogusto.co.uk; something else I am doing with a few other chaps. Once we can return to some form of normality, we'll be putting up more content. At the moment, we're just itching to get back out there.

Thanks for your comment. This took a little hunting as it actually has no title and is licensed from Audio Jungle. You can find it here: audiojungle.net/item/upbeat-corporate-motivation/24191899. I hope it's the right one.

Hi. How do you download these routes please? GPX possible?
@o75uk Жыл бұрын
Hello Alain, thank you for your request, but I've long ditched my Garmin SatNav in favour of Calimoto. Even when in the Picos, my Garmin badly behaved one day; instead, I ignored the instructions as I already had a pretty good idea of where I needed to go. Because of the unreliability of how GPX files can be interpreted with different SatNavs, I am very reluctant to share with others as there is a risk it could conjure up different offerings and screw up your long-awaited trip. I can't be responsible for that. Despite the days researching and creating routes and aware of the issues I encountered with my SatNav while I was out there, once home I converted and adjusted the routes into GoogleMap so everyone can see where we've actually ridden. Then you can use that as a basis, with confidence, to create your routes specific to your device.

fantastic video. how did you find this area for fuel stops ??
@o75uk2 жыл бұрын
Cheers Richard. 👍🏼 No worries with fuel. We tend to fill up first thing which lasted all day, or we filled up at the end of the day ready for the next. 🏍💨

Great stuff, this is good to see as I have literally just come off phone with Brittany Ferries booking a trip for 4 of us next May in Picos, staying in Odjeo near Potes as a base. What hotels are you staying in? Gonna use some of your routes as they look great so many thanks really appreciate it👍
@o75uk4 жыл бұрын
We stayed in Apartmentos Villas de Potes. Great as a self catering base with bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Hotel Picos de Europa is nearby which is popular with bikers and further out is Hotel Infantado, again popular as had plenty of parking. Hope this helps and thanks for your comment. I’m sure you’ll really enjoy your trip! 👍🏼🏍🇪🇸

Up to Fuenté Dé? There are a few campsites. I do love camping but as we were based for several nights in one location, we decided to stay in Apartmentos Villa de Potes as in easy walking distance of the bars and restaurants. Saves taking all your camping gear too.
