There’s so much to say. I was expecting Champs to go a poppier route on this album. I was not expecting this. This feels like a cumulation of the best parts of each of their three albums- Derek’s grittiness on TFT, the insane riffs of AWTAB, and the production quality of Living Proof. This sounds like their most rhythmically technical work to date. If this sounds anything like the full album, I am incredibly stoked. P.S. can we talk about Evan’s fills?! Dude gets better with every album, I swear. I love everything about this song.
