So far each song they are releasing from True View is mind blowing. First it was "the sun, the moon, the truth" on repeat, then it was "married to the noise", and now this!? This is all I'll be hearing for the next 32 hours until the rest of the album drops. Thank you STYG for everything you have done and have continued to do.

This is honestly one of the best album openers ever! The message and the music is so powerful and the perfect intro for this amazing album. I've had it on repeat all day, I'm still spinning it now and I'm loving it more and more with each listen! I love STYG and they did an excellent job with this album. Rock on! 🤘🔥💕

You're mind will be blown. There's a reason so many bands that go through OC still go to Chain instead of a larger venue and take the loss in revenue. The venue's name represents what happens within it, and it is always insane. SEE YOU THERE!

Great fucking album, eh?? I used to rewrite the lyrics with what pen and paper I could obtain and paste them on my cell wall. Powerful. Im presently 2 years free but completely stuck in absolute hell and misery that I created for myself by way of relapsing on fkn everything soon after my release and this far down the track it's just been a consistent ordeal the likes of which only GREAT ARTISTS as STYG truly comprehend and can express through the beautiful and virtuosic musicality and story telling adeptship of their art.

I find myself listening to this album on KZbin on this New Zealand night because it's the only way I can and this band is the only thing that will appropriately speak to me the way I need it to as I enter opioid withdrawal on the eve of what I believe to be the prelude to my decision to make some particularly major sacrifices going forward. Thanks to STYG for being a tremendous source of inspiration ever since the early days way back when I was like 17 and they came out with 'Comes From The Heart' (I think it was called) Anyway... That's my ramble. Stick to Your motherfuckin' Guns, people. Stand strong - 'Kia Kaha'

I've gone to hell and back searching for answers that do not exist. I tore everything apart, needing a reason for feeling like this. It left me with nothing but this hole in my chest, So I looked inside to see what I'd find… the true journey begins. Don't hide the truth inside of you from anyone. I just can't be what they want me to be. Can anyone? I made a promise to myself that I intend to keep. I made a promise that I will no longer live 3 feet from peace.

Someone could explain to me the meaning of the phrase "I made a promise that I will no longer live 3 feet from peace"? I'm not understanding the part of 3 feet.from peace, what it means?
@FloodBungie7 жыл бұрын
"i made a promise that i will live in peace" is basically what it means. no longer living 3 feet from peace is saying that he felt as if he was close to peace (feet is a unit of measurement in America) and wants to no longer be close to peace. he wants to be in peace
@craigkasiske70327 жыл бұрын
Maybe referring to being halfway to the grave 6 feet under, and peace meaning being dead... could have been how he used to feel... but who knows
