i kind of like the contrast in the two EPS. Where as the orginal was a great record because of the time it was released for those of us who were teens as well. It was raw and emotional with less production and polishing. it was perfect for their debut. And now this new release is a great example of age and maturity. Clean, solid and well thought out. They both stand out for the time they released.

I loved the snare sound on the original, couldnt figure out what was off in my head with the drums at first but im certain its this. Especially on free falling without a parachute

For some reason it really bothers me that they took out the first kick pattern before the guitar comes in. Like why? How did that make the song better

Obviously the production is better with this version but the drums are killing me. It was such a masterpiece. Very memorable, disappointed it changed but it sounds good.

The original ep was a lot more raw and emotional for sure but I appreciate what they did w this one too. They haven’t forgotten about us 👍 the ground folds on acoustic was my fave back on the day.

Throughout this entire remake, the way they went about touching up the vocals was just wrong. In the original, it was, for the most part, just a single layer of Buddy singing. However, for this remake, they've layered on multiple tones of Buddy's singing, which at times sounds painfully grating. I would've loved to hear a single layer of Buddy's voice NOW so we can hear how his voice and style has matured compared to how it sounded back then.
