Wow!!! I remember when the Rav A”H said this story in one of the first live lectures that I heard from him close to 12 years ago. I was just speaking of this lecture but couldn’t find it and now it’s recommended. Baruch HaShem! THANK YOU HASHEM! Such a powerful story! Thank you very much!!

Rabbi, I am a Catholic man and the messages in this story is somewhat different for me. The beauty is that Ha Shem worked through men of faith, a Christian and a Jew to reach this child. If the priest had not have love in his heart for the Jewish people and their faith, he would have been just another lost soul. Had the Rabbi not taught the priest the love of Torah, than one man’s spiritual relationship would have been weaker. Had the priest not been a man of honour he would have ignored, or worse, tried to convert this young Jewish man. It is a story of love and patience. I hope you agree.
