Offline local co-op with friends and family is the biggest draw for me. Online with friends and a mix of local with online are huge pluses, but the offline local as I understand it is key! Finally thw switch wont be the only console for get togethers lol

@kennypowers1945 sorry I forgot I had to stop playing games with my family on vacations and/or inviting friends over for the occasional game session because it is current year. In all seriousness, I don't like always online, live service games I feel like I am wasting money as I don't own these games should the servers go down. I did the research beforehand and this game was marketed as playable on and offline, a distinction was made. Now the devs say it was a translation error and was never their intention. I like to take my console to places that may not always have internet access to play with friends, but party animals is unfortunately not going to be part of that. Happy this doesn't impact how you play games. Good for you. It is still a good game, just sucks for those of us who like being able to play anywhere regardless of access to a server/internet.

the devs are Chinese crooks and they have bots running all over trying to discredit people. lying to your consumer is wrong and should be punished maybe one day china will join the civilized world and learn that they can't lie cheat and steal their way to success. kenny powers rides a bicycle with no seat and likes it.

I remember seeing Party Animals shown off ages ago; both glad and surprised to finally see it release. I think I'll need to either get some more controllers or get the online before getting this chaotic multiplayer game, but let's hear more about it in the present. 0:40 - Smooth cut to the thwack sound here. Who'd have thought a clothesline could be so adorable? 2:03 - That is rather reassuring to hear. As someone from a village, my internet connection isn't exactly known for being reliable (particularly given British weather). 3:42 - I remember seeing one or two teamwork events but the various sports are all new. I also appreciate the British usage of football. 5:20 - I was wondering if the length of an even game would drag the pace. Glad to see that brought up. It seems a timer option, especially for online play, might be a handy feature to see implemented in the future. 7:41 - I didn't see a Giraffe, so as my favourite animal, I'd love to see a Giraffe featured. I'd also love for a Spider to be playable... liking your Worm idea though.

Wonderful game. If you have 2 Xboxes it’s extremely easy to get a full party of 8 players playing together quickly and it becomes absolute chaos when you do that

No it's not worth it, the game requires online connection for a local multiplayer couch game with AI and you have to wait at least 10 minutes to play it, literally false advertising that the game can be played both online and offline. Not to mention the microtransactions with gambling, egg gamba system in a game aimed toward kids. Play gang beast instead if you like party game similar to this game, it cost less without predatory microtransactions. The problem goes on and on, check out steam review with mostly negative for details.

You are part of the problem if you support this scummy behavior of developer scamming people by advertising offline and online party game but only ONLINE available on release

I totally agree, I was so excited for this game to come out but when I was about to start playing offline (I barely play online tho) it said that I have to get a gamepass subscription!! To play the fking local mode, it's such a shame we cant create our own couch and play with 4 players on the same console, hopefully they fix it as soon as possible
