Thank you for sharing this! I know and I’ve experienced oneness and I still pray, appreciating, opening the heart to god, to keep the mind focused / disciplined on him which is the nature and not a state. Praying makes me feel in touch with humility, to relax the neurosis of the person, to give myself into him. So few people talk about this & it is very important, because language is dual by its nature, sometimes I just focus on the heart, sometimes I say some affirmations of the truth while focusing on the heart like: because of you I’m this that can’t be named nor changed because it’s not a state, it’s infinite, effortless, loving, undivided consciousness, it’s you. Thank you because love is vibrant, alive and shines in me. I give myself to you, I’m yours, I trust you. I’m in your hands and so it is, amen. It’s longer the prayer and a friend came home, saw it and told me that it was a deep love letter to my boyfriend and I was like no, it’s a prayer to god.

Thank you. I am on this spiritual path alone jn Bali in a rural Village. God definitely brought me here after 8 years of a death defying illness. I was healed in December after two years of non stop prayer, study and meditation abd then kundalini Awakening..Sometimes I feel crazy bc I dont know the direction, or the next step. God is very personal to me and I have some kind of combination of Spiritual' Christian, Buddhist, Taoist path. This is helpful and comforting. I am trying to transcend the egoic mind. Some days I feel like Im in some kind of altered reality. This is so hard but I pray before I meditate. Step, breathe, step, breathe. Progress is slow but steady 🙏🙏 if there is a group that meets, please please could I join.

@@GPWalsh would you do a meditation or exercise to know how you don’t get lost in thought? In here it looks like making the feeling of love stronger, yet, if love is the essence and is beyond any form, how to keep focused on the non conceptual even when thought arises?

@@friskymp That is where self-inquiry comes in. Simply looking. To whom does that thought arise? Who is looking at it? You are of course,. And whatever you can look at can't essentially be you but an appearance, ever changing. You watch it come and go yet you do not come and go.
