Purge is such a macro/theory player, it hurts to see him use abilities at poor times and mismanage his spacing especially in the early game. Still a lot better than me though - I wonder if theres a reason for some of those moments that im just not picking up on

5k myself and I see a lot of my playstyle reflected in how purge plays/misplays. A lot of the time I miss rotations/fights because I expect people to be doing the theoretical correct play. Taking fights under vision, defending/rotating for towers and dives. Fighting around our strongest hero. A lot of the time people just decide to go for something even if its a bad play. Purge was absent from a ton of important fights this game that just happened in Missouri and had no real reason for happening. But if he had been there they probably would have gone well. I'm sure some insanely fascinating brain research could be done on how people internalize all the background information going in DotA. Staying fully attentive for 60 minutes is pretty difficult and in these misplay instances I'm usually missing crucial details (team grouping up in Missouri) because my brain is absorbing/processing information somewhat in the background. IE the coloring/lighting of the map indicating we have vision, rather than the actually positioning of the hero icons. Or maybe purge is just a god gamer idk

Nah, the hero lines dont bother me much. Feels like something you get used to with playing dota either way
