Purification over the summer✨

On June 30th, the Nagoshi no Oharae ceremony was held at Ikimi Tenmangu Shrine in Sonobe Town, Nantan City.
The shrine fields were bustling with many stalls and workshops, attracting numerous visitors. In front of the main shrine, the traditional "Imayo" dance were offered, accompanied by an improvised dance performed to the "Hydrangea" songs collected from the visitors. This ceremony, known as "Nagoshi no Oharae," is intended to purify and cleanse the defilements accumulated over the first half of the year, and to pray for good health and safety for the remainder of the year.
