Gold Seal certified means that the third party certification agency Water Quality Association has verified that the system does what it says it does. Idk if it's still certified, though. You'd have to check the web listing of certified products.

I basically have the same sink set up and cabinet that you have. So my question is do you have to pull that unit out of the cabinet to change the filter out of the top and can you leave enough hose to do that. To pull the unit out because the sink bottom is low like yours. Thanks Doug

Yes we left a little extra to slide it out to be able to change the filters. It’s not overly difficult to do or heavy so it’s not bad.

Where is your power source?

I added a outlet behind the dishwasher and tied into the power for it. Since we hardly ever use the dishwasher there shouldn’t be any worries.
