PURPLE -- Barbara Dennerlein LIVE

PURPLE is one of Barbara's most beautiful compositions. Barbara has said that this title was inspired by the paintings of her father, so she named it after his favorite color - purple.
As with FROG DANCE, Barbara paints a musical picture that captures the title (in this case "Purple") perfectly.
In 2009 I created a video of Purple with a colorful lightshow along with the musican performances. Back then the resolution was quite low, so I decided to retire that video (which has 32,000 views) and do a new verson with a higher resolution.

This is a real treat for guitar lovers, as this performance spotlights Mitch Watkins who is Barbara's favorite guitarist. Although this is a slow tune, Mitch is on fire and plays a fantastic solo.
