Robert hello, I am Robert as well! My birthday is now to come at May 26th. ha. 67 Earth years as I call them. You have to remember two things, 1st You are always and every day the Alpha Male on your farm. 2ndly You have to produce diverse DNA for your ultimate funds of future pork production. This Aggressive boar has met his match with you. It is his time to go to the hog great beyond! A good many meals ahead, or a good sale to the right individual. Then You can choose, but really need to purchase a young boar from another individual, of non-similar DNA too continue your lineage of non-similar family. Hopefully a happy friendly and maybe a non-wild boar, that can diversify your future breeding. God bless you. always.

Hi Robert thank you so much
@stevejohnstonbaugh9171 Жыл бұрын
I heartily agree with your genetic diversity suggestion Bob Walton. Robert really has a gift for animal husbandry. I believe there is some domesticated DNA in his piglets. The pink and black spots at birth and the red piglets give me that thought. The piglets with brown and tan lines running from nose to tail run more to the "wild" pigs. All of Robert's piglets have very pleasant dispositions. I suspect that is because they are hand raised from birth. I think the big boar and the mean sow may have come straight from the forest. My thought was to buy a sow from a different line and breed her with the big boar as a trial first. He has had so much success, I can understand why he is hesitant to make an across the board change like swapping out the boar. I call Roberts type of gene pool "Iron Age" pigs. Are you familiar with the term? Google it. BBC coined the term I believe. All the best 😊

Hello Robert! It looks like the weather is now very hot. When do the rains come? The vegetables in your garden look very dry. Do you have enough water in your pond on the mountain that you can extend a line from your washing area to the garden? A waterline valve in the center of the garden right behind the pig barn would be very helpful when watering your vegetables. Is that something you would try? May I also suggest that you plant tomatoes so they can climb the fence right behind the pig barn? I think tomatoes would grow very well in that location. It was very wise to plant your vining crops where the tomatoes grew last year. Hopefully you have rain soon and I hope your vegetable garden is plentiful! 😊

Exactly what I suggest to Robert AKA BOB which I call him by but by extending water hoses to help out in watering the plants, washing the pig kennels n bathing the pigs so they get clean n cool. This will help Bob lessen the hardship of his workload at the farm. Bob you should take us up on our suggestions as you have too much on your hands managing your farm alone. You do tremendously well so far n I hope you’ll always stay healthy n strong for the longest time n have time to make a family n a couple of kids too so you don’t get lonely by yourself all the time. By the way Bob, thanks much for giving Mao Mao most of the pork in his lunch today 👍👍🙏🙏🙏👏👏🫶 Your the best 👍👍👏👏 n Mao Mao was so happy n contented after n just chilling out 😍😍😃. You go Bob. Take care always n Gob bless you forever.❤❤✌️✌️

Hey if you break the little bean vines the beans are on all the way back to the stalk it may produce a second crop... we have rattlesnake green beans here and they bear 4 or 5 beans to each little vine and when I break them off almost to the beanstalk they will produce again!!! And when the beans are all together on the vine they are much easier to carry!!!
