to get silky smooth buttercream like hers use this recipe;; - 6 egg whites, 180g, 3/4 cup - 450g sugar - 600g very soft butter - Pinch of salt - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 1 tiny smear of violet food coloring (optional) (1) in a heatproof or stainless steel bowl, whisk the whites and sugar. (2) put it over a Bain-Marie (double boiler) and whisk constantly until sugar dissolves. (3) take it off and wipe the bottom of the bowl. (4) whisk until it forms royal icing. (5) now slowly mix in very soft butter and whip until silky smooth buttercream. (6) mix in the salt, vanilla and food coloring if you have some. Done! P.S. the real Swiss meringue buttercream tells you to whip it to a meringue not royal icing and use regular soft butter but I find whipping it just to royal icing then using very soft butter (like butter straight from the fridge then microwave so some is melted even and most of it is very soft) makes it sooo much fluffier and wont get soupy :)))

Violet alone po. Sometimes pag medyo yellowish ang butter na gamit for buttercream it can affect the color kaya medyo grayish.

You can buy edible. The ones she used are not. On Amazon, type in ‘edible purple butterflies’ or any color and it will give you results. Make sure it says ‘wafer’ or ‘edible’ :)

The little pearls? You can buy any sizes. She used those tiny ones and bigger pearls. About the butterflies, they ARENT edible. You can most definitely buy or make your own edible ones but the ones she used weren’t (because I’ve used the same before and it’s made from card).
