First of all The first game has absolute no place in the main story if you actually paid attention First because Vert and Iffy was a thing and in Re;Birth 2... It's like it never happened, so you can take out the Vert x Iffy out of your points. Secondly: in Re;Birth 1 Arfoire is supposed to be defeated... Or saved with true ending.. However in Re;Birth 2, Arfoire is still evil... And nothing of Arfoire from Re;Birth 1 is taken in matter on Re;Birth 2 RB;1 is actually an introduction for you to understand the characters' personalities, what's all this about, how shares works and etc. THE ONLY THING RB1 can actually be taken for the main story, is the fact that they were fighting... But Neptune decided to befriend with them, nothing else. Not even the plans to create the sisters. Everything else starts off from RB2 And in RB2 Vert never acted like such... Near Neptune from there on foward for her to rub it off on Neptune. As for Plutia, Megadimension is still main story, so they take in mind that the portal from RB3 is permanently opened (they just didnt show anyone of RB3 here, but they make few lines calling them) and Plutia was the closest to rub it off on Neptune And it does not specifically has to be sadistic. Here Neptune was manipulating.. Plutia also does that as Iris Heart. That's basically the reason why they keep saying it's Plutia For sure Vert is the most similar to this. But no way it affected Neptune.

This was the first time I remember Purple Heart, specifically the HDD and not normal Nep, having any personality other than calm and dull. I know she's supposed to be "mature" in this form, but this is the first time it actually felt interesting. I blame the fact that most HDD voiced scenes are short and spread out. I never watched the anime, so I don't know what she's like there, but I have played all the games released in NA.
