I wanted you to know, Im 55 years old and have been playing guitar for 43 of those years. Your amazing talent has inspired me to push myself to be better. I've loved this song since the day it was released and have been fortunate enough to witness some awesome cover of it but yours is without doubt the single best version I have ever heard since Prince himself and I'm almost 60 years old ... if he is indeed up there looking down on us I feel certain he would say " now that's how to cover a song " ... you made it as individual and unique as Prince always was and truth be known ....
