I love how the audio is bugged in two ways. The Presents video audio is way delayed, but hearing the words come from Purplecliffe's mouth before he opens it is just really funny.

Well and the reverb was off the charts at the start. Really, though, not a concern. After all, this video is the equivalent of a microwave burger compared to his usual fancy restaurant burger. It's quick, easy, and intentionally crafted with efficiency in mind. This turned into a ramble.

The first part legendarys are based on momotaro a Japanese myth /story of a kid who popped out of a peach and defeats onis with animals that he tamed. The second part legendary is definitely the lovecraftian Pokémon that screwed over Arven’s whole family and made teristrailize possible

OH WAITAMINUTE! I just realized that the newest Pokémon from the Part 1 DLC could be based on the pheasant, dog and monkey companions from the Japanese folktale, Momotaro, aka Peach Boy! No wonder the main new legendary is based on the oni!

@@bubbytumkens Looks about right, or even a Kitsune. Both creatures DO transform into other living creatures, and some of the medias have them depicted using leaves as a sort of transformation item. It could be either one or both.

@@bubbytumkens It's kinda funny that after all this time we still don't have a tanuki pokemon. We apparently have a human character based on one--Attila, the blond Rocket officer from the Raikou special--but that's hidden in his production art and honestly doesn't make one lick of goddamn sense since he's big and buff, while tanuki are generally depicted as balding and squat in human form.

All-in-all I think the DLC is cool, and it’s nice that they’re catering to fans of Unite and Cafe Remix. I wasn’t expecting any new games, but I am highly disappointed that gens 1-3 aren’t coming to NSO

Lol, I like that they’ve already confirmed at least 3 new Pokémon for the DLC, presumably the starters for the region were going on a field trip to in Part 1 of the DLC. Also, MASSIVE yay for them taking a year off from releasing a mainline game. GOOD. I’d rather they take a year and make sure the next one is awesome and not just a basically 1 to 1 remake (SD/SP) or a game that hyperventilates when you play it for too long without turning it off (S/V). Take your time and make the next one as perfect and fun as Legends Arceus ^^ (fingers still crossed that next year we get Legends Celebi
