Absolutely sublime. Remains one of my favorite songs from gaming. Years ago, when Chrono Cross first released, I used to connect my playstation to the stereo system in my 5th floor apartment. Apparently I had it playing so loud that the building manager could hear it on the first floor. NOBODY in the building complained (because the song is that good) but he still had to come upstairs and have me turn it down. Good times. Once again my ears thank you. A credit to your name: a sorceress on the piano.

I've played Chrono cross many times in my life, as a child, a teen, a young adult.... This is one of my favorite songs of videogame history and of all time and I must say, this is the most beautiful and passionate rendition of this song I have ever heard, I'm not too manly of a man to say that this piece actually moves me to tears, thank you, thank you, this was masterfully done and absolutely stunning.

holy crap this is amazing. like you mentioned the drums are so vital so the temptation is to slam chords with the left hand one dimensionally but i think you overcame that nicely with your arrangement where it's more dynamic and the right hand carries it a tiny bit as well. you are too kind to share the fruits of your labor now when you planted the seed in 2003. I can't believe you've managed to arrange all of the instruments in parallel here - that is seriously impressive! Chrono Cross was one of those games that I picked up and put down over the years more times than I care to admit, as it was such a departure from Chrono Trigger (for which I have very strong feelings), but I've always enjoyed the soundtrack - it is so melodic and has such a dreamlike quality to it. I keep meaning to pick it up again - perhaps the HD remake on Switch? Has anyone tried it recently? Does it hold up? Otherwise, thank you so much for yet another wonderful performance! Have a fantastic vacation when it comes!

ahhh thank you so much!!!! I do totally understand not being able to get into CC, it really was so different that CT that you just have to be in the right mood to pick it up and commit, usually way way wayyyy removed from CT hahaha. The Switch port isn't perfect, but it's pretty darn good and the best we're gonna get for a modern port, lots of nice QoL updates so you don't have to slog through a lot of meaningless random battles lol. I absolutely hate the font but what can you do lol. Other than that, it's pretty much the original game and I highly recommend picking it up again if you feel so inclined!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ thank you for the well wishes and I hope you're enjoying your summer!

it's weird how well I can relate to trying to cram a brajillion notes in when you only have two hands.. i can only make two notes at a time while whistling and it's pretty dang hard to control both at once, but man with enough creativity I can kiiinda pull off complex songs.. in the right range. It's like those old games that only had so many channels to use at once, and sometimes just straight up alternated notes on virtual 'tracks' anyway you are amazing

I love Scars of Time so much, this was amazing! The performance was undoubtedly incredible, and I'm even more impressed by the arrangement itself. You managed to translate everything I love about the original track into a piano solo. J feel that's something that even the professional made vgm piano collections sometimes miss to capture, but this was flawless. Any chance you might share/sell this arrangement?

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL THAT IT BE INCLUDED never mind the fact we didn't have a competent violinist who could play it so I am forever grateful we downtuned it an octave for viola range and you kicked ass on it lol
