Thank you. I've been wrangling with this insidious guilt and shame, this fear, feeling confused and lost and so ashamed and guilty because i know its it's not true and I belong with God and i don't need to wrangle anything and i am so blessed and Loved and why is it that i can be in Grace and then choose against it, backsliding. But i see that i'm comforted and Loved through it and i'm so so grateful. The Holy Spirit is gentle and uses all of it to support me anyway and i cannot really lose the way that has been Willed. I had a glimpse of the Timeless Now 20 years ago, when I was around 20yrs old (ah, the irony;)... it was like you said... to know that all time is simultaneous was beyond joyful... the battle is already won, there is only one time and place, eternally and immediately here and now. But my ego cut off the experience as soon as the light of the One Substance began to shine down on me as I thought to myself, or mentally spoke to God, "but I still want to be a musician". I feel like my earthly attachments to sense pleasure have kept my soul wrapped up in a cacoon, and there has been much ego identification and deep anguish since then... even though it changed my life forever. I really desire to "give my mind to Jesus" as you say. My dream character is wrought with self-fulfilling beliefs of ineptitude and brokenness. In short: I need a miracle! 🙏💜

True the light is all that's real. But all is light, even the darkest dark. When we return to the the Beam, we wake up; then there is no need to rely on ACIM or gurus or whatever bc we have returned to the Core and that is beyond all definitions. I think there is a happy middle path that many would more quickly understand by dialoguing about the power of very advanced meditation processes like Kriya, Self Inquiry, The Prayer of the Heart and the ACIM process. How does this passage from The Disappearance of the Universe play into I see only the past, and we’re just reviewing mentally that which has already gone by. I don’t know how to reconcile the two: From DU: “Even though it’s a closed system, there are different scenarios open to you in each lifetime. Making a different choice that doesn’t involve the Holy Spirit within the dream won’t undo your unconscious guilt and get you out of the system, but it can result in a temporarily different experience. It’s like a multiple choice script, where if you make a different decision, then a different scenario will play itself out. If you make one decision, you get the girl and have a good time, but if you make another decision, you blow it and end up with depression.”

I only seem to experience natural forgiveness when I feel that what someone did no longer affects me. When I feel affected by people then I have negative feelings about it. Therefore, it makes sense to me that realising nothing ever happened is the only way to real forgiveness.

Hi David, Hoping you can provide some insight here. If the world was created by the ego as an attack on God, who created the ego? Meaning this seems to be like it is some kind of mistake? Am I interpreting this correctly? If so, this has not been my experience. It feels to me based off of some deep experiences that this is more of a game that God is playing with himself, within himself, by himself. Which at the end of the day is not serious, it only appears to be while caught in the ignorance of apparent separation. Hoping you can provide some feedback. Thank you 😊

Hi michael, The ego has no source, and thus is only a belief. In Heaven there are no beliefs, for there is only Eternal Love and Light. Games are of belief, being projections of nothingness, and God/Love is Everything and God plays no games!. Forgiveness is for the sleeping, dreaming mind, and is the only Helpful belief that leads beyond belief towards Knowing. God knows. God does not forgive, having never condemned. There must be condemnation first before forgiveness is necessary. Amen.

Hi David, thank you. Could you clarify to me why God would give such a world to his son? I guess what I'd really like to understand is what the definition of the world is? It seems as though it would be a cruel gift. I thought the dream made the world. I guess for that matter I thought the dream made the idea of the heavens and the earth as well? Hi Bo, Here is a passage about the forgiven world or happy dream: T-12.III.8. "I said before that God so loved the world that He gave it to His only begotten Son. 2 God does love the real world, and those who perceive its reality cannot see the world of death. 3 For death is not of the real world, in which everything reflects the eternal. 4 God gave you the real world in exchange for the one you made out of your split mind, and which is the symbol of death."

Hi David, thank you for this video. I really like your analogy with a theatre. Do I understand your explanation of ‘The script is written’ well when I conclude that the thoughts that appear in the mind are part of the script / play on the screen as well? And that my choices, which are really just thoughts, are also appearing on the screen on their pre-appointed moment in the script? The reason I ask is that in the Bible, Jesus demonstrates the ability to have precognition of future events in the script. For example, Jesus knows that Petrus is going to deny his association with Jesus three times before the rooster crows two times. So Petrus did not seem to have any choice there, his choice was predetermined (as well as the crowing of the rooster). The same thing we see in the event where Jesus tells Helen that he knows where she would buy her coat eventually, as covered in ‘Absence from Felicity’. So when this is true, couldn't we say that ultimately, we do not have the freedom to choose even our purpose, because also that choice is predetermined as part of the script already? This then would even hold for our tendencies to identify or not to identify with the thoughts and other imprints on the screen, because just as any other thought, they are part of the script as well. At the same time, I guess getting inspired on making the right choices is a necessary and useful part of the script, to have the dreamfigures make better choices when the script was written in the first place. I look forward on your view on this!

As Jesus says: "Change is the greatest gift God gave to all that you would make eternal, to ensure that only Heaven would not pass away. ²You were not born to die. ³You cannot change, because your function has been fixed by God. ⁴All other goals are set in time and change that time might be preserved, excepting one. ⁵Forgiveness does not aim at keeping time, but at its ending, when it has no use. ⁶Its purpose ended, it is gone. Can I ask you a question? How do you deal with it to be a person who loves course in miracles , and completed the course one time but has had the book for 20 years... I find it kind of hard to leave my community at church, I returned there to Catholic church after 20 years away because of some deep sins had surfaced. And now I’ve been back there for about 15 years but I am continually reconciling what is real and what is not real during the mass. That is to say when I’m at mass sometimes I stay in spirit and yet each week I’m thinking that’s an attack thiught, let it go. And reorient to ACIM It’s just kind of nerve-racking and exhausting to do that and it doesn’t feel authentic but I think I would miss the people in the community and the routine of going every Sunday morning if I didn’t go . I’ve tried not going but I always go back. I am not judge mental I embrace all Faith’s but I feel like I’m giving up on reconciling them to each other.
