Crystal isn't lying about there being no consistent paying gigs in Missouri, like I made $55 at a show in November and came home and cried because that's the most I've made in such a long time. You need to hear a proper strong yam yam accent! My dads from an area known as ‘The Black Country’ in the uk (it’s called that because during the industrial revolution the sky’s were always black from soot) the accent is like no other 😂 I’m fortunate to of developed my mums posh British accent but the Black Country accent is so strong and unique when we travel people think my dads German! You would definitely be able to tell that apart from the rest

Love Crystal, ultimate underdog of S12. HOWEVER, she's not the most vocal/overly opinionated for these specific formats and I'm starting to understand and sympathize with Drag Race producers who get dogged on the fans for always featuring a few more girls in the talking heads than others. It's just a part of their personalities that some queens are a little more reserved and won't give as much in the confessionals (Kameron, Alaska AS2) and then sometimes they get queens like Tamisha, Katya, Ginger, Monique, etc who of course you want to feature heavily as talking heads moreso than the quieter girls since they give more energy.

This video made me realize exactly the same thing, especially when you compare it to Aquaria or Heidi's episode who were invested as fuck, giving all the commentary, throwing shade with no regrets, etc... I still adore Crystal, of course, but I can see her personality isn't as extroverted and it's a bit harder to Bob to establish a good rapport, and also Crystal I didn't feel like was completely comfortable judging the girls and in these type of gigs we just want everyone to read the queens lol. I hope Bob has Violet and Bianca here soon though, they are always the best in The Pit Stop too because they have no filter lol.

It's not her personality to respond with a nervous giggle. It's anxiety, she has talked about this on the show that she struggles with anxiety. It isn't a personality trait it's a mental struggle and part of that is communication restriction especially with interviews and live performances. She has grown more confident though but she still has her moments which is what we need to remember, for someone who struggles with anxiety I completely understand. Crystal is a very private, reserved keeps to herself kinda person I'm not sure if that's naturally or an anxiety thing. She uses drag as a mask and she's mentioned this before. It's scary to think about tbh but generally she is such a sweet person.
