Let me just say you look fabulous for being 55. I have always loved Coach I only by the outlet store or the outlet website and I recently have gotten into Kate Spade more. Coach is my number one choice in Handbags.

I used to buy vera bradley and love my older pieces but in recent years I have made the switch to Lug handbags. The material is great! water resistant, and wipeable. Also they have lot of functional pockets for organization. Definitly recommend checking Lug handbags out!

Vera Bradley is new to me I never had any but I would like to shop for those bags soon. Because of the size and convenience for me to reach in that bag and its nice in quilts I like that. Thanks for showing it here Bonnie, because I am going to purchase a first bag from them Vera Bradley. I like to put my laptop in that bag. Looks like it would be the blanket protection for laptops. Hi Bonnie, Your new Coach bag is beautiful, I love that color. I was a Dooney and Bourke girl for many years,however, They are so heavy even before I fill it up. So I went back to carrying my Vera bags, and I love that they are light,and all the fun patterns.It's a shame that Vera has re branded with less quality features. I will always have a fondness for the brand,but hopefully they will make some improvements with all the current backlash on the features they excluded with the new branding.

*I would shop resell sites like mercari, ebay, ect for new with tag bags from years passed. It's probably the only way you will get the quality of yester year. Also, just an fyi Coach outlet bags are made specifically for the outlet meaning they're not the regular Coach quality. They still have nice bags, but there is a difference. I also recommend buying back ups of things you love!*

Hello everyone and Bonnie 😊 never ever brought any Vera Bradley but own just a few Coach bags 2 are still brand new brought years ago , ❤ ❤Dooney & Bourke bag Gurl , brought my first one in 1975 been collecting them off and on for years leading up to the right now . Some of my bag are considered collectors still in mint condition cuz I have so many of them and they are worth money whenever I go out carrying one of the bags out people always stopping me asking me where did I buy this particular Dooney & Bourke from especially the Crocs bags tell them brought this bag years ago . Once in a while will buy Coach bags when I go to the outlet stores to buy for other family members especially when you can get a good deal when they have them on clearance 😊 as for Vera Bradley bags they used to be manufactured first established for years in Fort Wayne Indiana Vera Bradley was from Fort Wayne Indiana , bags are no longer made in America , made now in another country .

Most of my bags were Rosetti the affordable leather ones also have Nine West which is not the affordable ones. I like your new bag Coach. The color is best in browns, pinks, greens, and neutrals too. 👍

I use a walker that hss a nice seat and you just lift seat up and there is a wire basket underneath. I had a nice leather purse but it was to tall and too stiff to close seat down So i looked on my local marketplace and a lady had about 20 she was selling that her mom passed away and collected vera bradley. She and her sisters took all they wanted snd and she sold me 5 gor $50 ,that were brand new in plastic bags individually wrapped with tissue . I don't thing she ever used them. And they all have many zippers and pockets. I can't wait to enjoy each one 😊

I still love my LV reverse monogram kislux clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

I was big into vera Bradley about 12 years ago, then they changed a lot imo. I still have several of my old bags (been using one lately) but I can't get anybody to pay more than like $5 on mercari 😅. It's sad. I can't afford a coach right now but that's a gorgeous one.

I do love Vera Bradley but only the bags the are pre 2020, after that point the quality went down hill. Coach however is an awesome brand, I've worn them for years. Michael Kors and Dooney Bourke are also great brands that I own and love.

This is interesting about Vera Bradley. Two Christmases ago I ordered my daughter a makeup bag that seemed cute but was just kind of more bare bones than I would have thought I would get. And this year she wanted a lunch bag. She's 17 and doesn't really know anything about how their quality used to be. But when I received it, (ordered both off their regular website), I was just shocked at how barebones the lunch bag was. Its not much more than a brown paper bag done in fabric with a little bit of a lining 😂 It doesn't even have a Vera Bradley label in it. Or outside of it. So if you care about that, no one would know that it wasn't from the target dollar spot. She likes it so whatever, but I'm not happy with their quality either. .. I've been buying vintage Coach bags on mercari and Poshmark for the past few years. I just love vintage and I love their big ol buckle styles from years ago. Plus I'm a single mom on a budget LOL. But I've also found those sites to be great places to get Vera Bradley bags. So you might want to try that if you want the old school style. You can get really nice clean barely used bags for great prices. Just FYI 🙂

That is so interesting! When I got my last Vera Bradley it almost felt like Target, the label was really tiny and the zipper ribbon was missing.

That's the same Vera Bradley that I use! I haven't bought one in years. Like you, I would always get mine at the outlet store (when I lived in OKC.). Mine are still in good condition, so I will use them. That's a shame about the zipper! I have to have a zipper! That's a deal breaker for me! I love Coach bags, and bought one at the outlet in Columbus and haven't looked back. I bought the matching wallet with it.

Have you tried Kipling bags?! I think you'd like them! I'm the same way when it comes to a zipper 😅 They typically have them at T.j Maxx for cheap but they're quite expensive like Vera & Coach. They've been a go to brand for me for years. So many designs & colors to choose from and they actually have compartments with zippers unlike any other brand ive seen. An organized girls dream 😊

I have never really understood why Vera Bradley was so expensive, maybe it’s just not my style..? It always seemed like they were overpriced for what you got. I carry a small crossbody purse by baggallini. I have just never been into purses like other people are. I’m probably missing out. The new Coach bag is very nice Bonnie. One thing that bugs me about higher end bags, Coach, but others too, is the lack of outside pockets these days. I like somewhere to throw my phone and keys without having to unzip the entire bag. And sometimes coach has those goofy zippers that kind of leave the two ends open, if you know what I mean. They're okay I guess, but hard to just open and close with one hand. Impossible to close with one hand actually. And outside pockets can be tough to find. Maybe that's just me haha 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have been a Vera Bradley fan for years as well. I was so disappointed when they “revamped” their brand. I do have one of the new cross bodies and it’s just ok. It feels cheap and the straps are so thin. I also feel like there was no warning with the switch. Like it was secret squirrel information…overnight it changed. Argh!
