Pursuing Dreams FOR REAL This Time | How to Gain Confidence & Momentum

I've let fear hold me back from my dreams since...forever. But this year, something changed in me, and I've been making great progress on the goals I set for myself back in January 2023. In this personal chatty vlog, I talk about the fears I'm facing head on and my journey of self-growth and gaining confidence and momentum (coming back to KZbin played a part in this!).
I hope this vlog inspires you to chase your dreams, pursue your goals, and trust the process. I know it's hard to see the possibilities when you're drowning in fear and self-doubt. It can feel so difficult to just START.
But I promise that when you start to take small actions on your goals over time, things WILL happen. You'll gain valuable experience and major confidence, and your vision and path will get clearer. You have to be committed to the goal and willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen. Fear of failure is one of the biggest things that holds us back, but I've learned that you must be willing to fail and learn from the experience in order to succeed. It's the only way.

I’ve always dreamed of doing musical theatre, and I’m finally auditioning for the first time next month, and I’m so scared but I know I’ll regret it if I never go for it!

Aw that is amazing! Good for you for auditioning and just going for it! Taking this step will be huge for you and I just know it’s going to unlock something in you.. and that is SO exciting. 🙌🏼 And what you said about regretting if you never go for it - that’s exactly how I feel and it’s one of the things I remind myself of to break through my fear. It may sound morbid but I try to imagine myself in the future as an elderly woman and how I know I’ll be filled with regret if I never gave myself a chance at my dreams when I was young and full of potential.
