G--19's Incident Report: "On Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, at 10:58 p.m., I turned around to get behind a white Chevrolet Malibu on Columbia 22 just south of Columbia 21. As I was turning around, I observed the vehicle to gain speed. After I turned around to the same direction of the vehicle, I used my same direction radar to get the speed of the vehicle. The vehicle was traveling 60 MPH in a 40 MPH zone, and the speeds were climbing. I initiated my emergency lights and sirens on Columbia 22 and my top speed was 89 MPH on Columbia 22 attempting to catch up to the vehicle. We then entered Louisiana, and the suspect vehicle ran a stop sign and turned left onto Spring Branch Road. On Spring Branch Road, I was able to see the license plate on the vehicle and was and get a plate number. The plate number was Louisiana 289GBH. We continued on Spring Branch Road with speeds around 60 MPH and the suspect vehicle was driving all over the road. We then made a right turn onto Percy Burns Road. I moved up to TVI (Tactical Vehicle Intervention) the vehicle, but the suspect vehicle break checked me. I then attempted again and thought I was coming into a blind curve and hit my brakes, and the suspect vehicle accelerated, and I wasn't able to get back in position to TVI the vehicle. We then continued south on Percy Burns Road with my max speed reaching 84 MPH and the suspect vehicle driving all over the road. At Percy Burns Road and Highway 157, the suspect vehicle slowed down to around 40 MPH and ran the stop sign. I was able to see there was no traffic coming. We continued south on Percy Burns Road and my top speed was 75 MPH. The suspect vehicle was still driving all over the road. After a short time, the suspect vehicle started slowing down and I pulled up onto the passenger side to attempt to TVI the vehicle. The suspect vehicle then started to go into the ditch into a residence. Due to something in the ditch, I had to back up and go around it to follow the vehicle into the backyard. In the backyard, I saw the vehicle had stopped and the driver had fled the vehicle. I then observed a black male subject wearing dark clothes just over a fence in the back yard. I put the subject at gun point and started giving him commands, while scanning the area for anyone else who might have fled from the vehicle. The male subject, who was later identified as James L. Barrower, followed my commands and came back over the fence. Mr. Barrower came back to me and got on the ground. I was then able to place Mr. Barrower under arrest without incident. Mr. Barrower still had the keys in his hand and he stated that he was the only one in the vehicle. I then notified my dispatch that I had one in custody and asked if they could get a Louisiana officer to come to my location. Webster Parish Sherriff's Office, Louisiana State Police Troop G, and Springhill Police Department all arrived to assist. The pursuit had ended at 215 Percy Burns Rd. in Springhill, LA. Mr. Barrower was turned over to Louisiana State Police Custody and transported to jail in Louisiana to await extradition. I ran Mr. Barrower through my computer, and he had an ID only license out of Louisiana and I was unable to find any insurance in the vehicle. Webster Parish called a wrecker and 3D Towing arrived to tow the vehicle. An arrest warrant and affidavit were done and signed for felony"

You know he got over that fence, disposed of whatever it was that he hoped the Trooper wouldn't find and decided he didn't need to run any more.

Awesome apprehension, Trp.Drake? It is extremely difficult to get any information from Mr Barrower, he is slighty strange & frustrating. 🤷♀️ Kudos to Webster Parish Sheriff's Office. Thank you NST for the Live & this video. James & NST family/friends, have a Blessed evening. 🎉 ❤️ 🇺🇲 🚑 Awesome photo.🎉

Awesome work by the Trooper in a less than ideal area. I sure wouldn’t want to be in a back yard in the woods in the dark. 😳

Nice picture James! You are getting quite a nice collection. I know Trooper Drake was very apprehensive about being behind a house with no back-up, scary situation. Thank you James and stay safe everyone. 😎

I assume they checked the area on the other side of the fence to see if Papaw dumped anything... and what was Papaw asking someone for at the end?

So Jasper Williams, the local Arkansan’ artist, is a dear friend of mine who sang that song (and others) live on my back porch in 2013. It was a whole thing; the Hood Fortress. Yeah. Now, fast forward to April 2023. Jasper passed away unexpectedly at 35 years old. If you took the time to listen to the lyrics, you likely heard the “Little Rock” reference. “I think that all hate… is just a bad dream”… You may feel it is really, really bad. I see it as a great song that my friend wrote and I love how I’ve brilliantly applied it here as a theme song. It is synonymous with this channel now, and it is a lasting memorial - an ode to a lost friend. It is apparent that you aren’t much of a “critical thinker”, but you certainly are critical. Further, I’d argue you never took any amount of time to give thought to the meaning of the lyrics before you casted judgement and attacked such with your words calling it the worst. If you can’t respect it, then don’t let the door hit you in the a$$ on the way out-
