I just found you a couple months ago and have been sharing your sermons with many. Now, I’m a little unsure… Yes, New Testament scripture is filled with the problem of sin. Filled!! Rejection of Christ is a sin. Scripture says unbelievers will die in their sins. I TOTALLY get what you are saying and why you said it, but it’s not biblical. Believers also still struggle with sin because sin is a huge problem in the world we live in. Yes, rejecting Christ is what sends you to hell, but there is still a tremendous sin problem in this world.

We totally understand where you are coming from. Pastor Jordan 100% agrees with you and knows sin is still a problem. His heart and his point was that Christ paid for all sin on the cross. When we put our faith in Christ we are saved and forgiven for our sin. To reject the truth of Christ and the Gospel means we will die in our sin and spend eternity apart from God. We don’t have a sin problem in terms of it still separating us from God. Our faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross saves us from our sin. So because all sin has been paid for the question isn’t, “What do I do with my sin?” But rather do I truly believe the Gospel, accept the truth of Christ and put my faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord. His point and what he was reiterating is taught clearly in scriptures like 2 Thess. 2:10 “They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.” Specifically 2 Thess. 2 is teaching in the end times under the rule of the antichrist those who rejected the truth of Christ will be given over to be delusion and condemned. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. “11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” 2 Thess. 2:11. Pastor Jordan is human because of that will never say everything perfectly. We and he understands why what he said might cause you some struggle. But hopefully you will understand what he was trying to say even if he didn’t say it perfectly. Please forgive him for any thing he said that could be misinterpreted as unbiblical. I hope that helps.

@@PursuitChurch thank you for your response! It’s so hard to find pastors, especially on social media who speak the truth. I’ve binge watched many of his sermons in the last couple months and have thoroughly been enjoying the End Times series. I have many friends on Facebook who are not Christian and I always pray that they watch what I do post. I’m glad to read your response and understand. Thanks again.

Come on pastor. I know you are looking for something to grab peoples attention, but the rejection of Jesus Christ IS THE ULTIMATE SIN, so we DO still have a sin problem.
