Is it very rare that one singer ( Maynard) can be in 3 bands and all be completely amazing in every way!!

@@spinosa360 True. Though other than the Deftones, none if his projects ever got quite as big as Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, Audioslave, or even Temple of the Dog (though short lived, lots of airplay - expectedly so for who was in the band). Though I think Palms and Team Sleep should have gotten more exposure than they did. But yeah I agree he deserves mention in that list for sure

Turns out he's got a number of projects I wasn't aware of, and even a website dedicated to coaching singers! He's not as well known as he should be here in the states. Hopefully that turns around, he's got great range and a very ear-pleasing style. I get a very Lajon Witherspoon (Sevendust) vibe from his sound, and it works well with the bands' musical styles.

One of my favorite songs by this band. I really love how the vocal lines meet and touch and wander away and come back. The rich vs pure vocal quality of their voices work amazingly well for this and the instrumentals support it (or allow it?) perfectly. A performance to be proud of

I've actually kinda stopped waiting for new Tool stuff, mate. I do think Tool is the best band that Maynard has ever been in, but it's been ten years. I mean, i waited 6 for the new Queens of the Stone Age album from 2007 to 2013 but i knew it would come eventually and the band kept us hopeful. With Tool... i don't have that hope. Same for other bands that i love, like Silverchair (that "broke up").

@jamesbarrett8948 жыл бұрын
No man, NOT the bomb because APC was WAAAYYY better. They have some decent tunes but it's nowhere's near the caliber that Tool was and still is and that will be evident when the album drops, they will sale more albums than all Puscifer albums combined. I really love the use of the synthed xylophone before and during the second chorus loop. It's such a unique sound. It really gives the song a haunting, calm quality before things really step up after after the second chorus ends. That calm just serves to further the buildup when the second half of the song starts. Perfect

The truly brilliant artists are never content with just one outlet or one style of music. Particularly, they don't care if their fan base like it or not. They are driven to create, and they do it for the love of their art. MJK falls into this category.(I would include Neil Young and Chris Cornell in this category, as well.)
