If u want the shot to actually be the flick of the wrist (on release, as i haven't tried it on the rest) adjust the blend to truly match. People go for stats on their jumpshots but neglect this aspect cuz sometimes itll make the stats slightly worse

Push and Set Point are very similar on most jump shots imo.. I was using Push all year until the last patch then I switched to release cus every shot I attempted was Slightly late. Then for some reason last weekend I couldnt hit at all so I made a jumper with high grades in all categories, then I put it on Set point and it feels amazing.. Whatever visual cue fits ur styles you have to make sure the way the jumper looks fits ur style as well.. Crazy how they keep changing this game up smh

Ngl I switched to release timing. I will say the sae thing you said. The last patch made this thing like a notch slower. With that being said, I think that is why the flick of the wrist is not lining up with release so you have to change it. I use Huerter base and it is so fast that it lines up perfectly with the wrist flick movement. I think this year you are going to have to change the shot timing thing depending on the jumpshot if you are looking at specific cues

Release is working for me. I’m shooting 70%fg and 64%three while averaging 12 ppg on park and 27 ppg in rec. I think it just depends on the jumper you are using.

your visual cues matter but if you are shooting slightly late slow down your jumper and if you're shooting slightly early speed up your jumper in the jumpshot creator, it's really not that complicated. that will fix your jumper faster than changing the release point you use.

Bases and releases have attribute requirements which some people can’t meet with anything other than the shot they already have made.
