An Orient fan here, we will never go to the Premier League maybe, but I remember the times when we crossed paths, a great fan base, real people, simple, familiar, friendly and passionate. I always had a good time on away days to Griffin Park, so many great memories. Great documentary, history is not only made by the big clubs, long live the small neighborhood teams

Best football doc I've seen to date. 23 mins in - that thing about the floodlights on night matches - I feel you, bro. From a Hull City supporter, you're all brilliant.

Being an Old Skool Chelsea fan I can honestly say to most of us Brentford was the place we went to when Chelsea was away and we could not get there. Most Old skool Chelsea have a lot of respect for Brentford :-)

We, Grimsby, have mooted a new ground for the best part of 30 years but there's now a bit of light that it could actually happen. When the day eventually comes I know I'll be devastated to leave Blundell Park, as you guys are to leave Griffin Park. But that day needs to come. We've not played each other for a number of years and I feel sad I never got to Griffin Park. Always seen you guys as a kindred club, similar heydays (30s/40s) both got proper old skool grounds, similar-sized fan bases. I hope we can replicate/emulate what you've done, however unlikely that feels right now. UTM PUB

It's our club. Brentford has been about the fans ever since I watched my first game in 1964. Now it's good that we have an owner, and management that realise this.

Having grown up around SW london , and then having lived in Ealing and Hanwell for a while, I should have been a Brentford fan. For family reasons though, I'm a Palace fan. Can see many similarities between our two clubs, not least the Ron Noades connection. Amazing that you have a new stadium, and the best of Luck to Brentford for the play off final.

Lovely film, bit of nostalgia but didn't dodge the awkward issues either. Such a shame that because of Covid Bees' fans didn't get the chance to say goodbye properly or see the first game at the new ground. We had the same feelings leaving the Vetch in Swansea, another crazy ramshackle ground, but you do carry the spirit with you. Loved Griffin Park though - had some good afternoons there both watching the Swans and seeing random games with my mate, a lifetime Bee.

When the buckets were coming around in the early 2000s I was a young teenager using my £10 pocket money, £3 a ticket, £2 for chips and wings at the kebab shop and my other £5 pocket money was going into the bucket, at the time I was told it was to pay the players wages, to every Brentford fan that gave to save the club I salute you, look where we are now

At 33 minutes that photo of the ground does anyone know where I can see image, as my old school St John’s on the corner of Clifton rd you can just see the edge as it pans out.

Hi John, The photo was supplied by Legends Publishing and is featured in the wonderful Brentford Reimagined book. www.legendspublishing.net

Thanks for that, looks like you have to buy the whole book and not individual photos. 30 pounds plus overseas postage, might not show the full Clifden road corner. Thanks anyway for replying.
