You didn't explain what comeback mechanic is. When you're at a 2 point disadvantage you capture the point at a 4% capture rate and when you're at a 1 point disadvantage you capture the point at a 4-3-4-3% rate

Man that comeback mecheanic is broken. If you are leading by 1 point no matter what and the enemy defends each push. There's no overtime for your team and the enemy team gets the cap at a insane speed. I have yet to experience the comeback mechanic in my favor. It's either you win all 4-0 or you lose 3-4.

Drafting tip- if the enemy have picked a main healer already, you don't have to pick one cuz they most likely won't pick another Focus on getting tanks and better dps

Yea , ever since I took a break from paladins ( played Durning the beta ) and came back. There was this Crossplay mechanic that forced you to play in either mouse and keyboard community or gampad community. So now I'm stuck in ranked playing with such a horrible community. The public quene that you get with your team are soooooo horrible. So many trolls , Smurfs, throwers and idiots man. ( Ofc I know it's not all the gamepad community but still it seems like it's a huge amount that are) . I liked playing with my gamepad and telling the mouse and keyboard that " yup that's me , the guy with the 35 kills and 10 death " lol it felt good facing off mouse and keyboard. But now with Crossplay , it's always gonna be either you get bad rng and you get a team with all controller facing off enemy with all mouse and keyboard or you get bad players.

Can't even BEGIN to tell you how often I get teams with one person who ruins the entire draft process. They either rush to ban whoever they want without conversing with the team or make a bad pick at a vital time that either doesn't fill or simply doesn't work. (Basically the reverse of the drogoz first pick, where the enemy already has 2 or 3 hitscans and they choose drogoz)

Game sense is everything. I play console at high rank. Knowing where to stand to pressure point AND guard the flank.... recognizing your 5v4 snd retreating.... escaping vs challenging a team flank.... it's why I have my rank. TBH the most Important Tipp for you is the one to learn a few Champs before entering Ranked. Learn Champs from every Role and have at least 2 of them. If you are maining common picks and banns like Tyra or drogoz chances are very bad youll get to play them. There are always Roles that dont suite you well (im a bad Flank for example) but if you are the last one to pick and the Team wants a Flank its your duty to at least play a Flank even if it isnt the best counter to the enemies. Dont just buy the 15k Champs to get to Ranked fast but you cant play many champs.

i stopped playing paladins for about a year and a half due to schooling and no time. before that i was about bronze rank. came back and practiced for a week, got placed gold 3 from placements. i mained inara during that week and every game i got her in placements was a win. so my tip, pick up a hard to kill point tank and play them, i dont see enough people going on point due to people just wanting to play flanks and damage. and as you win, youll rank up, see better players, how they play, and their game sense. and watch different people play your champ on youtube. so you see different playstyles and builds.

I recommend you common sense, just think wich champions have abilities that counter other´s, you dont need a guide for that (For example, inara is a good tank pick against snipers, because she can block their sight to point by placing a wall, and with a good loadout you should be capable of having that ability every 5-6 secs), is just thinking while you pick :)

13:28 however it is actually a very smart idea, when all flank routes are zoned and covered, to leave the support behind to get as much pressure and zoning to the enemy team. This doesn't mean that the rest of the team then has to overextend. So the support will still be able to heal.

Tip n.41 ..... I remember this one. I was playing ranked with friend (3friends) and my game crashed. When i came back, it was already 0:3 for them and they were pushing payload. Our makoa was typing give up and was saying to report me. Just to say my teammates saved me from possible ban. I came back and first of all, we defended it and we have actually won, so... 16:36 teabagging!! Clever, never thought of that - Another tip I've come across is that i used to down there enemy hp all simultaneously. Like 1 hit for ying, 1 hit for lian, & ended up getting them to 1hp but killing no one; & they would all survive. Sure it might be a good push back mechanic, but not useful for getting the job done especially as a flanker. I'm also a good player with average aiming skills & i remember when my friends complimented my playing which feels so freakin flattering ^^ Unfortunately i don't get mildly pro players on my team usually & i can't get back to my highest rank. watching- the easier way it's always done. Throw this tips to my mates is another hell. Luckily idgaf about Ranked but I still do amazing as a support/tank main playing only provisionals and each decaying match of inactivity of that mode. But I feel bad for those who try their hardest and they get matched mostly with throwers and "Lex Pros" and similar and cannot escape the most toxic ranks P.S. The main problem is, those who are in lower ranks cry about non meta champions how sucky they are and they throw when team composition isn't 100& by their taste, while exact those players cannot play 'meta champions' properly. META shouldn't even be a thing in Paladins, only in Pro League. I dominated with Grohk, Ying,Buck,Makoa & Grover so much yet they aren't all really a META. Play what you play the best/most comfy,not what 'Pro' are playing while you are stuck in fuarkin Silver gold or Platinum

I good tip that has helped me A LOT when i remember to do it is strafe acording to who you are facing. In a game the enemy andro was obliterating everyone in my team but me(my aim is shit) and all i did is change directions 3 times per second matching his attack speed. Learnd how often eatch guns shoots and strafe accordingly. IF you face a full auto champion try to mimic a bot's movement. Vs aoe champions jumping is good.

As a Talus main (Inner Strength build) it's alright imo to sometimes be the last one guarding the payload. If you know what you're doing and have kill to heal and life rip you'll probably be fine as a Talus.

Tip: Use gold to rank up Champions to level 8 or 12 to unlock their other perks. Shrapnel is a game changer for Victor. Lots of people hate Grover when they first try him as a low level, but once effloressence becomes available, he can heal with the best of them and hold his own offensively, too.

Maybe you should have mentioned that with heals, invis and invuln abilities its better to be to early then to late(and die), for example playing zhin or seris I usually use my q/f when my health drops around 1300-700 in a fight(depending on enemy team), this comes as a perk of game sense, but I just thought if may be useful to mention. The most important part of not chasing your rank is getting to style on people that are worse than you. In casual you could get a random assortment of people, but if the ranked system is working properly being at a lower ranked elo than you normally are means you get to flex on kids.
