For anyone else who tries to swap the air filter the way pictured at 6:15, you can grab it and the piece of plastic it is mounted to slides out to the right. Then you take the nut off with the whole assembly out of the bike.

I love this video! My first bike was an '04 TTR 125. Got it for 1,100 in mint condition in 2021 and I still have it runs perfectly and she's so much fun still! Even after riding my 250 2 stroke I can just hop on it and go

I really like these bike flip videos, it would be cool to do a long form version. Clips of you searching market place, what to look for and to avoid. And then clips of inspecting the bike.

On the air filter you can slide out a tray which makes it a lot easier to put the air filter in.

Would be awesome to get prices like that. Around here, people want $1700 for an 06 that needs tires, chain/sprockets, both levers, all plastics, doesn't even run, and is caked in mud because they can't be bothered to even clean it before posting it for sale. It's insane. The only TT-R125 I've seen for $1000 was beat to hell and missing parts. Great video though, I enjoyed it.

The best bikes to flip are small bore air cooled 4 strokes, especially Honda and Yamaha's as they run forever and are very simple designs plus they appeal to a much broader market, larger more performance oriented MX and Enduro bikes get quite expensive to repair especially 4 strokes where repairs can easily exceed the value of the bike, you got good deals on both those bikes but the 2016 was a great deal but the TTR models are all pretty much the same, I'm curious as to the progress on your 200.

If I'm not mistaken, they are manufactured here in Brazil. These bikes sold well here because the Specials, like the YZ 80, 125, 250, and especially the 250 R and 450R, have an absurdly expensive price, reaching 80,000 reais, while our salary is 1,650 reais. This type of bike with better cost-effectiveness sells a lot here. But what leads our market is the CRF250F

@user-ng6ny No friend, here we usually convert the Honda Xr200 to ride off-road. A very reliable, economical motorcycle and most importantly, extremely cheap maintenance. Of course, it’s not a very strong motorcycle but it fits well its role on off-road trails.
@antoniohbc75647 ай бұрын
@user-ng6ny Now, for those who have a bit more purchasing power, they buy the crf250f or a ttr230. And those who really have spare money buy the 250R and 450R

Hey, im rebuilding my 2002 ttr 125 and the oil pan leaks oil from the drain hole, im pretty sure the threads are broken and someone did a bad job fixing it (ME) 😭, my dad recently decided to stop riding dirtbikes so im gonna get his 2019 yz250f and i wanna get this ttr running good, looking relatively NOT CLAPPED (change the plastics and fix the oil leak, grips and possibly clutch handle since its really loose and floppy as if it was lacking a washer or something) this is my first time freshing up a bike to then sell it and i really am stuck on the plastics at the moment, wherever i look i cant find ANY plastics for it and i was wondering where you got your 07 ttr plastics from, as of right now it runs good and maybe needs a carb readjust but thats about it, i really like your videos and i wanna start rebuilding bikes like u man, greetings from poland! 🇵🇱

@@KincadePavich Rocky Mountain uses OnTrac as their delivery carrier. At least on the east coast. They stole $400 worth of merch I bought. Marked it delivered and everything. Never was delivered. I spent about three weeks going back and forth between them and RMATV. Finally got my money back. OnTrac has a pretty lousy rep, but they still use them. Nothing against RMATV, though.
