That wasn’t the issue. It wasn’t that she wasn’t happy for Myrtle. Erica had a major abandonment complex after what happened with her father. She was always afraid that everyone she loved was going to leave her.

How can Erica say that she can’t imagine what it was like to put a baby up for adoption or keep it a secret for decades???? We’re writers at the time unaware of everything that happened with Kendall or were they pretending that Kendall never existed at that time???
