Back in 2015, I jumped from 233 m - the HIGHEST BUNGEE JUMP in the WORLD. In Macau. With consent. Paise deke. Khud. To get rid of my fear of heights kyuki dost ne kaha tha. Photo aur video bhi banwai.

Alright, •Distance(d) = 233m •Acceleration due to gravity(g) = 9.8ms⁻² •Initial velocity(u) = 0ms⁻¹ • use d = uT + 0.5T² to find *time of flight(T) = √(466/9.8) s = 6.8957s* • money spent(m) = ₹32000 *• Average rate of losing money = m/T = (32000/6.8957) ₹s⁻¹ = ₹4641 per second* • So is Rahul wrong when he says 4000? Well, maybe not. The rope comes into action at the end and increases the time of fall. He probably asked them the spring constant(k) of the rope and used Hooke's law ( body mass*g = -kx, x is extension in cord) to finally deduce the fall time. It's not for nothing that his boss selected him only for Macau. He got 🧠. * * * • *The above is the average rate. To find the actual rate, just find the velocity(v) at that time (using v = u +at) and multiply it by a factor of m/d = 32000/233* • Doing the above gives *rate of losing money at any time t after falling = 1346t* • Hmm, can't it be that Rahul was actually talking about the rate of losing money at the point he realised that? • *To find out after how much time did the realisation struck him that he's losing money...* Well he says that he was losing ₹4000 per second, just put it in the previous formula to find the time. • It gives t =(4000/1346) s = *2.97 seconds* • *So around 3 seconds after falling he realises his mistake. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Stratosphere, gravity, 9.8, acceleration due to gravity. Brought back memories of science classes. And not to mention English classes. Present continuous tense. Haha...
